Huge variety of special rolls to choose from and all of them tasted great! One of the rolls had rice that was a little bit hard, but otherwise no issues. The tempura udon was good quality as well. Will go back!

Amazing Sushi. Best caterpillar I've ever had. Crazy boy was unique and enjoyable. Alaska was standard and could be improved. Washrooms are clean. Good asthetic. We came at a busy time so we had to wait a hour to be seated and served. Great prices and service just don't come during times that are hot or order takeout.

Sushi rolls were good but the sashimi did not taste too fresh.

We started enjoying Mega Sushi close to ten years ago, when they initially opened on Chatham St. in Richmond. Over the years, the quality started to gradually decline, just as quickly as the ownership kept on changing…. Eventually, about 4 years ago, we stopped dining there as the quality and freshness simply deteriorated too much. Yesterday while driving by, I decided to try Mega Sushi again and what a mistake that was…… One word describes our latest and definitely last 'culinary experience' with Mega Sushi - HORRIBLE.Toro Sashimi was still frozen, Amaebi Sashimi was limp and smelly, both Aburi Oshi dishes we ordered were tasteless and mushy, chopped scallop tasted and looked like mashed potatoes. The Aburi Oshi dishes and the Rainbow Roll we ordered tasted and looked as if prepared the day before - mushy and tasteless. For a $120.00 order, there were two tiny containers of wasabi and ginger, even though I asked for extra….. When placing the take-out order, I was informed that bags were 10 cents - upon pick up, I was told by a male server that bags were 20 cents, but he was immediately overruled by another employee, who claimed that bags were 50 cents. I asked if an over $100.00 order was not enough to grant us a 'free' bag and was told "sorry - it’s the owner"…….As to our previous sushi experience and knowledge - we have been enjoying sushi and sashimi since the late 1970's / early 1980's, when the only two sushi restaurants were in Vanocuver's 'Japantown' on Powell Street. Our 1978 wedding reception actually took place in Aki - Powell Street's oldest Japanese restaurant. So - needless to say, when I comment on sushi quality, I am talking from decades of experience. And - based on that experience, I will never, ever, order anything from Mega Sushi again. How they received their high ratings in 'Richmond's Best' simply begs to question how many 'friends and relatives' were promised a free roll of some mush to post a positive review. This is my first EVER review of a restaurant and I was compelled to write it so that the new owners of Mega Sushi realize that what they serve is a disgrace to Japanese cuisine.

Had a quick lunch there before their 3AM break on new year day. There are around 6 parking spaces on front lot. The food is good and appear clean. Service is kind and caring and the price is acceptable. There was two of us and we order a salmon karma to take home. Around $60... We had grill black cod. West side of Stevenson village.

I really like this resraurant. Before the menu, a lady brought us hot tea and water. The tea was very nice for the canadian winter. I asked for a beef bowl (dounbory). It is very well served: half rice and half beef. The meat was tender, the rice so soft and the veggies not overcooked. A very nice combination. I also tried two kind of sushis. They were very tasty and it is not so expensive. I really like their style. Thank you.

Dining here before the pandemic, it’s always full, but now it’s better to dine in, when we are being seated, I saw so many take out & delivery pick up, therefore dining here is great because it’s not crowded and keep the social distancing. The food that I like is one of the appetizers “Monkey Brain”, it’s a deep fried avocado with crab meat, tuna and cheese, the lunch or dinner set is taste great, their sushi is fresh with no complaint.Anyway, I think the owner is a Korean, because it’s also have some Korean style menu, I will come back as usual cause the price is reasonable and the service is good too.

During a summer visit to the fishing village my husband and I had a wonderful meal here.We didn't do any searches and went in solely based on how popular it looked. It was packed back then and the incredibly hard working staff tried their best to accommodate us. We found the food delicious and the portions satisfying. Spicy sashimi has got to be one of the best! Godzilla bite is amazing and has huge portions!

Definitely one of my top favourites for sushi.I tried several other places in Richmond but they weren't nearly as good.I frequently order aburi, rolls, teriyaki and as mypictures show they are a delight to eat.

Big menu of rolls, noodles, sashimi, tempura, and more. Staff are kind and will recommend different things for you. Facilities and washroom are clean and modern. Outdoor seating is great on a sunny day. Took some sashimi home for the next day and it was still fresh after being stored in a normal fridge.
