Overall, they serve quality sushi and sashimi, beautifully plated for a premium. Everything tasted very good and they almost got five stars. Their oyster motoyaki was large, their ikura was rich and popped in your mouth, and the aburi nigiri had good variety and flavors. One star is taken away because the uni they served was rotten, rancid, and foul so they need improvement in quality control. Everything else was pretty top notch.

Amazing sushi spot with high quality fresh ingredients without being fancy. My family was looking for a sushi restaurant and were lucky to find Kizami. It looks like many other sushi places but is much more special. All the appetizers, sushi and noodles we had were wonderful. The sashimi was so fresh tasting and thick cuts, also a nice variety of fish, definitely a highlight. The service was friendly and fast, ordering was simple though an online system. We wish we lived in Richmond so we could be regular customers.Parking: Limited parking in the area

For the price, I'd expect better quality of food. Extremely disappointing. Charging approximately $4 a 1 piece of Salmon sushi, I really expected better quality. The day when we got there, the AC was out and it was over 30 degrees outside. The hot plates were decent though the skewers were burnt so had to ask the server to replace it as it was too bitter. Some sushi were sold out. Overall, we were extremely disappointed for the price we paid, it was the quality of an All You Can Eat buffet. I would not return and do not recommend this place. The servers were decent with their service hence giving them 2 stars otherwise, food and value would be 1-star. There are plenty of better quality sushi restaurants around the area.

Popped in here for a quick bite and the were fortunate to catch a group leaving so got a parking spot in the complementary lot and a table for two right away. Food was fresh and arrived at a good pace. Would recommend a visit if in the area.Food: great variety of menu items ranging from cooked appetizers, sashimi, sushi rolls, robata- grilled items on skewers, dons- rice bowls with raw or cooked items, noodles: cold, fried and soup.Had the pressed salmon Oshi (a popular favourite), yakitori beef udon, yakitori chicken with cheese skewers, bacon and scallop skewers. All dishes arrived hot and tasted very good.Beverages: beers, cocktails, fruity drinks, tea (tea was on the weak side- could have used more fresh leaves)Service: Our server was prompt, friendly and helpful.Ordering is done by making selections off their web page. What would have helped make it an easier ordering experience is to add photos (or descriptions) under the food items so it clear what is being ordered as some titles had Japanese words that may not be common knowledge to all.Overall a positive experience.

A good variety of items to choose from. Service was excellent. Food was awesome. Will definitely visit again. It is a small shop so call to reserve your table.

Cool place tucked in small strip mall just off no. 3 road. Parking is a bit tight, free parking in the lot but be careful where u park. There is pay street parking which is very reasonable. The menu is electronic so bring your phone. Could use a few more pictures as the some items have limited descriptions. That said the food is excellent. Good portion size and very tasty. Presentation was excellent as well.Service was attentive and they knew the menu well.We had sashimi which was fresh and tasty. Chicken karage, and 2 specialty roles. The one dish, kimchi beef fried rice was average. Otherwise might have given a 5.Price point $$. Would go back.

Great food and service?? yet I was looking forward to it because the pictures I saw on the review page, but turns out it was flitered, great presentation and taste, but the sashimi were ok, It's not so fresh.

Best sushi in Richmond that i have visited in recent times. Their food is very good and fresh. There is long wait though to be seated so consider booking ahead of time. Highly recomend their pokemon sushis and potato yam and tufo with clam sauce. Onyl dowside is the service can be a bit slow for a sushi place. And the washroom is not very tidy. But other than that, the food is great.

Lots of variety in this restaurant. You wouldn’t have expected in a tiny restaurant to have that many choices. My favourite was the carpaccio, yam mochi, and sunset roll. The sashimi was fresh so definitely give that a try. Their other speciality rolls like the battera roll didn’t really amaze me. I’ve tasted better elsewhere. However, customer service is really nice. I like their robata skewers too! I think it’s a nice place to come have a beer or two with some skewers! Parking can be hell so keep in mind for that haha.
