Authentic Japanese cuisine with outstanding staff

Celebrated Father's day dinner here. Staff was very attentive enough though the restaurant was packed. I ordered the house special roll and thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall, would recommend trying this place out.

Authentically Japanese. Food was yummy and fresh. We pretty much ordered everything and loved it! Thank you, Yoko for the great service.

What a wonderful experience we had at Kiyo Sushi. Was looking for sushi last night and found out way here. The restaurant is tucked away in a corner of Cambie Plaza (Pro tip: Double check where you are parking because the plaza has very specific reinforced rules about the duration of your parking time).Once entering the restaurant, my partner and I found the atmosphere to be well worth the experience on top of our food service. The servers were friendly and gracious and we were made to feel welcomed right from the start. They accommodated us without asking to a more spacious, private table when available. The food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the Kiyo Bento ($20+tax) that offers a wonderful selection including a small chirashi bowl, soba noodles, and select tempura. Also really enjoyed the (half) order of the house special roll ($9.50+tax), which was ginormous! Overall, the food was great, but the service even better. Everything from start to finish - service, food, atmosphere - made for a wonderful date night. Highly recommend this Japanese gem in Richmond!

If you’re looking for an authentic and quality Japanese cuisine, then this is the place. The staff are hardworking and friendly. Very ambient and appropriate dining experience. I loved it through and through. I will definitely be back!

It was nice place for well prepared sushi. Pretty standard decor. Not super special, kinda the place to hang out with friends but maybe not a date.

Like their udon that can be a super comfy food when you miss Japan. Will return again to try out other dishes.

The staff was really friendly, and the food was SUPER. The food was so authentic, especially the udon and the teriyaki box. The sushi was good too!vAlso really cheap and worth my time coming here. This restaurant can easily be 1st best restaurant in the whole Vancouver. Tip: try the udon!

Service was ok and food was delicious. We got the Goshoku Mori with Uni on the side, Special assorted sushi, and Spicy trio, and they tasted extremely fresh and tasty. The sake on the side really brought everything together too. Highly recommend coming here for the premium quality sashimi alone.

This place is tucked away and very popular. Starts getting busy on weekdays at 11.30 is and lineup by noon the weekday i went. Excellent tasting food and reasonable. They have daily fish specials that are listed in the whiteboard. Great value for what you get. Service is quick, food is good and plenty of free parking around. Worth a try for sure.
