Best claypot rice with vegetarian option
With the small renovation going on in our kitchen at home, we came to the Empire Centre for lunch. Was recommended to try the claypot rice at James Snack. We ordered the one with meat loaf and octopus. It was tasty. The rice tasted good, not too salty with the right amount of crispness at the bottom. Will return and try other varieties.

I always order the egg with minced beef on rice same as the user: leohippochin. However, it’s still my favourite all these years. I don’t think he understands that claypot rice is suppose to be hard at the bottom. This is a hidden gem alert for sure.

Great claypot rice! I got the beef and cabbage which was super tender and choc full of meat and veggies.Great portion size, obviously lots of rice. Rice wasn't as amazingly crispy all the way around (needed more time) but wasn't too fussed. Reco using a metal spoon or bringing one though, to hack at it.Will return another time!
