Excellent wine tasting and donburi experience! Hotpot Palace is known for their luxurious hot pot and dining experience, but now there's another reason to visit. As part of the "Summerhill Wine Series Tasting" you can now enjoy 5 selected organic wines from Summerhill Pyramid Winery (Kelowna) and 5 gourmet tapas. Original price is $60/guest but it's currently 25% off. You can also purchase any of your favourite wines to take home. The Fresh-Out-the-Grill Meat Donburi is another fantastic menu and I recommend you try one when you visit. The Bowls are loaded with fresh ingredients and delicious! I loved my "Grilled Angus Short Rib & Ikura Donburi" ($29.50) and "Kabayaki Eel & Tamago Donburi" ($26.95). Currently, all dine-in donburi is 20% off and you can combo-up for free.

My family and I went to this hotpot restaurant in Richmond on a weeknight and it was surprisingly quiet. We actually liked it but physical distancing purposes but even then, service was spotty.I read earlier reviews and agree that the broth seems to be either quite watered down, or too salty. We order two soups - tom yum and pork bone. The tom yum was too salty right off the bat and water was needed to dilute it down a bit, while the pork bone wasn't flavourful enough.Expect to pay $60 plus per person if you want to consume a good amount of food. Prices are typically $12 and up for meat and seafood dishes and the portions while not small are not great. The bamboo pith was disappointing compared to the same dish at Hai Di Lo and Dolar Shop - they were small and looked like it was bleached. The sauce is not all you can dip, but provided per table with additions requiring you to ask the server. Problem is the service is spotty and they forgot to bring back our teapot twice, and the chili sauce that we asked for twice as well.Their fish paste was good as well as the seafood platter - fresh enough and of a good variety. The marbled beef was also fatty and buttery.I like the decor and they have several private rooms if you want more intimate dining but this would require a minimum spend.Overall, there are better hot pot places to eat in town in a crowded industry. I would bring friends here for the way it looks, but won't return if it's with my family due to the costs for insufficient quality.

High end experience hotpot with a mix of Chinese and Japanese style. Price is slightly higher than average hotpot place but you get way better food. Service is extremely good, highly recommended

Can’t believe a wine tasting in hotpot restaurant, they offer organic wines pairing with 5 tapas . I tried this wine and food pairing, very delicious and worth the money! You can buy Summer hill wine same price as the winery . Amazing ?

fresh ingredients, top service with great selection of Organic wine from B.C.

I had a amazing "Chinese New Year " hot pot diner at the Hotpot place , I am not a hot pot guy , it is one of my business associate invite me and my partner for good luck Chinese New Year diner , can not say No ! I am not sure what to expect ! but WOW ! what a surprised hot pot experience I had to night ! the decor very clean and upscale , no problem with the Covid guidelines , we had a private room booked , what a elegant room , cozy , very impressed , nothing compared to the Dolar Shop Hot Pot ! menu little expensive from other hot pot place , but I find out you can plan your dinner menu with the Manageress for your budget , average $100 to $500 per person , and the private room is min $600 , with six of us , no problem with the $600 , but my business associate told the manageress about #150 to $200 per person , I just amazing the quality of the food is so fresh upscale presentation is eye opening ! Iron Chef , take a sit ! the seafood Platter very unique and variety of top end seafood , like Scallop , Prawns , Abalone , Dungeness crab , Geoduck Oysters and many many more ! ( I wished I can take some picture , but in Chinese Culture not allowed bad luck ) and also variety of meat and Vegetable , it is most elegant traditional Chinese Hot Pot I been eating so far in my life ! it is 100% high end quality , Quality in Quantity , excellent professional service , she did not miss a thing , wine glass never empty , not a single dirty plate on the tablet , if you do care the budget , this is a lovely place for high end hot pot but I noticed they do have Dine Out Vancouver menu For $45 , looks not bad at all . HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERY ONE ! STAY SAFE AND HEALTH ! BEEN HAPPY !

Best hotpot! We definitely ordered a little too much but wow it was really great. The sushi was also pretty good. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of fish. The wagyu was amazing. We loved the truffle pork meat balls and the foie gras cuttlefish balls so much. The soup bases were great! We got half and half. The Sichuan one was a bit too spicy for us but the flavor was overall nice. If you like Sichuan food, you would definitely like the soup! The staff was so nice. The dessert was free and it was DELICIOUS. This is a must have every time we come visit Vancouver now!

High end ingredients for hotpot. Very fresh meat and seafood .. it is quite expensive , does not compare with “all you can eat hotpot”.

We weren't sure what to expect when we booked a private room for a birthday dinner. When we got there we were greeted by the hostess and guided to our room. The server we had was amazing. She had a great attitude, very smiley and provided excellent service. She remember what every one ordered in terms of drinks and was continually changing plates. Food was excellent from foie gras wagyu sushi appy to the a5 wagyu we order for our hotpot.

Amazing services and the seafood is so fresh and they have a really really good service on side. The place will let you feel you are the boss and it’s a quite place to have dinner with your love.I had a amazing dinner here. Strongly recommend everyone to go there celebrating any important date!
