Great food small clean restaurant
One of the best BBQ pork and roast pork I've had. You can literally see the juices coming from the roast pork as they're cutting it. The BBQ pork needs to be eaten on the spot when it's still hot. It's got exactly the right texture; not too tough, not too tender. Flavours were amazing.

We arrived at 7:15pm and they were starting to clean up. The end-of-day items were limited. Only available was BBQ Pork & Roast Pork Rice combination ($15). The remaining meat for the day were acceptable, but nothing to be excited about. A little bit dry. Service was also super rushed as they were cleaning up getting ready to go home. Would try to come back during the day when there is better selection.Cold Hong Kong Style Milk Tea ($3.50) was good.
Would easily recommend to anyone, worth a trip even if there is a line!Authentic eats, meats were flavorful and perfectly cooked, great texture and a real joy to eat. Fantastic! This little place is awesome and a must-visit when in Richmond. Located inside the underground parking of Superstore, it’s a legend for Vancouverites. The bbq pork and duck are outstanding — the crispy fatty caramelized pieces are just out of this world. We had a combo plate of bbq pork and duck, together with a couple rice bowls and some gai lan (see pics). It was so juicy and good we ordered another platter of duck and pork, happily taking the leftovers home. Super fast service, super delicious, good portions (although I could use more burnt-end pieces). I hear the soya chicken is equally amazing; I have yet to try that. What can I say, we will definitely return again and again and would totally bring out of town visitors. Not a huge place but that adds to the charm. It’s always busy, but moves fast, so the bbq is always fresh and awesome. There is a take out only like that moves fast, and a dine-in line. No need for resos, just show up, although weekends are very busy.HK BBQ Master reminds me of Kom Jug Yuen that was on Spadina Ave in Toronto but unfortunately closed down. Kom Jug (aside from their name) was famous for having a sign that said “best bbq pork in North America” ! Actually it probably may well have been to be honest. However since Kom Jug is gone, HK BBQ Master might be the next best bbq pork in North America ??
The best BBQ house in the city! Take out or dine in with afternoon tea availability. Choice of combo meat selection, roast pork, soya chicken, free range chicken and roast duck served on a bed of rice. You can also order whole or half portion of meat to go. Don’t come late some selections may be sold out. Delicious!! Free underground parking near Superstore in Richmond.
WOW... This was place was worth the wait!! The BBQ pork and roast pork were done to perfection but I think the absolute star of the show was the Soya Sauce Chicken!!! So tender and juicy it melts in your mouth!! BBQ duck and HK milk tea were on point as well. Must try if you are in the Richmond area!!
