Place has nice vibe, clean and well maintained. Air conditioned. Service good and fast. I ordered shio ramen with pork broth. The broth was average, not creamy and brimming with marrow. Noodle: perfectly done. Toppings: generic, but generous tamago, whole egg came with my ramen order, and another whole egg when you order extra egg. Chasu: average. They are meticulously cut and charred, but do not melt in the mouth, with texture on the hard side. Karaage: good and well presented, but can be fried a bit longer for more browning and crispiness. Overall: a good meal if you are nearby.
My favourite Ramen place in Richmond!!???I went for the first time today, The server was kind, and the food I ordered came out well at the right time, and I was able to come out after a very satisfying lunch, and the chicken carrage and beer I ordered with ramen went very well together.I will be back!!
Went on the weekend with the family and we were all happy with our ramen. Tasty, clean environment, friendly staff. We will be back!
It's ok good, not busy which I prefer.
I tried Mayu ramen yesterday and it was great. If you're garlic lover, you should try Mayu. There was spicy level of ramen, 1 to 10.For me 3 was good enough, you should careful if you try 10. ?Clean interior and friendly staffs.Easy to access and plenty of parking spots.
A favourite when I’m wanting ramen. I love the spicy miso ramen and my husband and daughter love the mayu ramen with the fried garlic bits. Soup is always flavourful and hot. Chasiu is excellent. Restaurant is clean. Place is perfect for Covid as there aren’t a lot of tables but turnover is always quick. Service is always great. I only have two complaints: 1. I wish they’d marinate the egg longer and give you both halves, ie the whole egg as I just think for presentation purposes it would look more appealing or maybe more balanced looking overall in the bowl. People “eat” with their eyes and nose first before their mouth after all. 2. I wish they were there open for the whole day since they’re running shorter hours (11:30 - 2:30 and 5 - 8). My husband usually drives past around 3:30ish everyday and I would definitely have him stop in to pick up takeout more often if they weren’t closed at that time. There’s also a cold ramen bowl that I want to try but every time I get there I always end up going for my usual spicy miso ramen because it’s just THAT good. Maybe one day I’ll bite the bullet and give the cold bowl a go.
Staff very friendly n they checked carefully on each incoming customers on their vaccine record/ ID before enter into the restaurant. We also need to put down our name + contact number as a written record. We feel much secure n good protection. Very good procedure indeed! Food nice n always keeping the good standard. We come here at least once in a week for lunch as we live pretty close by this area so very convenient with good parking facilities!
If you want the tatse of instant frozen ramen, but don't want to do dishes afterwards? This is the place to goI ordered chicken soup with pork chashu. The tatse of the soup, and the texture of the noodle reminds me of the frozen ramen I bought from Asian Supermarket. The soup is very liquid, not thick at all. Not much dimensions. The egg doesn't tatse much. The pork slice is very thin, and not much flavour. Kinda over done too. Overall - not too impress with the Ramen. Reminds me too much of what i can make at homeBut the chicken karaage is surprisingly good. Very tender and juicy. Match with mayo and lemon juice is ichiban!Takoyaki - it's alright.Service is good, no complaints. And serving time is fast. As soon as I placed my order, the food came right away.Environment is clean and comfortable. Ambient is dark and dim. Did not visit the washroomWould I come again? Probably not.(My fav ramen places are gmen, and marutama. I use them as my benchmark)
Have been to this place a few times now, soups is delicious. Noodles are cooked perfectly and the staff is great. One of me new favorite spots.
We dine in last night. Ramen was so good. Very reasonable price. Interior is very good and clean. I wish they have a branch in Vancouver downtown, but will definitely drive all the way from Vancouver. Worth the drive. ^^
