We were excited to enjoy our veggie bento boxes; however, upon opening our boxes at home we completely lost our appetite. Tempura was very greasy, it retained all the oil. The tofu with rice was decent. BUT the avocado rolls, complete garbage - picture for reference.
Delicious, the chop scallop didn’t look nice but it tasted amazing. The specialty rolls are quite big and satisfying. We tried to order the special sashimi but they ran out of tai and only wanted to give us toro and wouldn’t allow other substitution. Unfortunately that turned us off the dish and fortunately we didn’t have to spend an additional $65 ? on top of bill.
We went pretty close to closing time on a weekend, it was still a little busy. The service was still relatively quick and the food was great. No complaints.
One of my favorite sushi places to go to in Vancouver area! Really good North American sushi style rolls! Usually there is a wait to get a seat but it is worth it. Very large menu of items to chose from not only sushi.
Great sushi! We had one of the combos along with the rainbow roll and salmon sashimi. Although pricier than most sushi restaurants, the rainbow roll is for sure worth it! The sashimi however didn't seem as fresh and smooth as I would have like but still good (a little overpriced in my opinion in comparision to other sushi restaurants).
Very good sushi from what I’ve ordered. I got the California roll and the magma roll all very fresh and prepared as you order. Will definitely be trying more of their otheritems.

The food was okay, the portions for the price on the lunch box aren't the greatest. The service was terrible. I tried to wave down someone 3 times before they even took my order, it felt like they were avoiding eye contact, and the place wasn't even busy so I can't say it was because of that.
I am extremely impressed! I am so grateful I came to check out Gami Sushi!!! The staff was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious! Great prices too!
I usually come here and I ordered this time with DoorDash and they couldn’t help so I had to resort to filing a review here. I love Gami Sushi usually for their high quality salmon sashimi, no metallic or fishy taste and super opaque pink. This time though I was shocked to taste and I had to throw it out because it looked like it gone bad! It tasted metallic and fishy which is so opposite of what their Sashimi usually tastes like and the Sashimi was see through which was strange? It was like I can see through the sashimi. Some of the sashimi pieces were darker and some of the sashimi pieces were white, I freaked out and realized it either has ‘gone bad’ or it was just poor quality fish.
