Idk what it is about this Fresh Slice but their pizza doesn't taste the same as it does from all of the other Fresh Slice locations.........and that's a good thing. Obviously the parking situation is woeful, but it's Steveston, we know that's just how it works in the area. No qualms, the seating is nice too and you get a decent opportunity to people watch those walking to/on the boardwalk.
Order two pizzas at 6pm for delivery. by 7pm they had not arrived so I called to ask if they had gone out for delivery yet. I was told the driver was pulling up. At 7:15 I called again, I was told the driver was delayed and the pizza would be there at 7:30. At 7:35 I called AGAIN and then was told the driver was in Vancouver somewhere, unreachable, but that they would deliver the pizza as soon as possible and I would not have to pay.Obviously, the pizza never arrived.

Absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful and staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. ordered delivery 32 hot and BBQ wings and requested well done and extra sauce. wings arrived super soggy and cold and barely cooked, no extra sauce. zero crisp and tasted like it was soaked in water only. I called and told them, I will be bringing these wings back( one piece half eaten) , and asked for new wings cooked well done with extra sauce as I ordered. They debated on phone and keep on saying wings are well done even when I told them I can bring them back and show them in person. then call was handed over to manager and again I was told that wings were ok lol. they said we have to pay for half of the new wings if I want new wings(ordered delivery but still walking to store to return wings doesn't matter for them)- we refused. then they said bring wings back we will re-bake them HAHAHAAH. Is this person for real. They baked their wings sauce them and they gonna bake them again after saucing (ultimately next serving will be wings with burnt sauce). they refused to make us new wings. this place has gone big time down hill.
The pizza is consistent to any FS store; an okay pizza for a cheap price. Today we stopped at the FS in Steveston Village, at the pier. I waited outside while my partner went inside. While he used the debit pad to pay, the young lady working came from behind the counter to stand beside the pop fridge, waiting for him to finish so she could hand him his take out. (He's disabled so I guess she very kindly thought she'd come around from behind the high counter. That was nice). My problem is, I saw while waited, she was running herBARE FINGER all over the front of the pop fridge, I guess removing dust. I should have banged on the window and said something to her. So gross. Who does that???
Very friendly and helpful staff. Love their absolutely fresh and delicious thin crust pizzas. My favorite is the Pesto!
I seriously appreciate this store because i went to too many store for pizza but the quality of this store is best...and specially employer they would treat us like a king so thank you
On this cold but sunny winter day, I took my international visitors to Freshslice Pizza located at 3866 Bayview Street. This is on the waterfront at STEVESTON VILLAGE. We received the best pizza I ever had anywhere. It was wonderfully prepared with ample toppings and it was prefectly cooked. The young lady running the shop by herself Miss Neethu, was very professional and super friendly. She delivered first class customer service and left a very positive impression. I watched her wash hands very frequently and she kept the restaurant spotless clean. During a pandemic, that's satisfying. When we enquired, we learnt she's a Registered Nurse which explained the vast difference in quality of cleanliness and attention to hygiene in this fast food outlet. Make no mistake though : the pizza we ordered and received was at par with the ones you get at a top pizzeria in New York. They have good ingredients and the place lives up to its name : freshslice! The quaint fishing village at the mouth of the Fraser River is a great place to explore and has a warm, old-time vibe.
