The old Chinese male server with glasses did not look approachable; he did not make us feel welcomed. When I told him I wanted the sweetened tofu pudding, he had his back facing me and he took the tofu pudding from the fridge and poured the water out from the plastic container. No one would do that because there is always water with tofu; you cannot clear out the water from tofu. He obviously did not need to do that unless he did not want us to have the water from the tofu. Then he said the tofu pudding was not sweetened and he asked me for the kind of sugar syrup. I said ginger sugar syrup. Later, I found out that there was residue inside the container of ginger sugar syrup; I did not know what it was. It was gross. I told him I wanted the yellow bean pudding and he took it out from the fridge. Then he started to search for the tools to cut the pudding. I did not know if the tray and the knife for cutting the pudding were hygienic. Moreover, they did not have the chocolate tofu and the papaya tofu even though they were on the menu. When I asked him for two spoons, he did not answer me and went away. Then he asked me again. In general, he was ignoring customers when customers wanted to talk to him. He just talked to customers whenever he wanted. That was not customer service. In terms of their products, the texture and the taste of their tofu pudding were similar to the Sunrise tofu at the supermarket but the Sunrise one is half the price. The melon tofu pudding tasted stale because the top coat was chewy. The yellow bean pudding was inferior as well - they had bits of yellow beans instead of the whole yellow beans in the pudding and they used excess flour for the pudding. It was disappointing because this was a specialty store for tofu.Overall, this place is overpriced and overrated.
Fantastic and fresh Tofu Pudding. Two of us shared a hot bowl with sweet black rice ($6). It is served without sugar so you can add as much (or as little) white liquid sugar, liquid ginger, or brown sugar as you like. Would come back and try more combinations!
Desserts were excellent, nothing to complain about. It is really nostalgic of the little shops in Asia, we bought 2 tubs of pudding home and ate them everyday and never got sick. The soy milk was sweet at the right level and very refreshing, Definitely a place to come back to
Soy pudding is indeed excellent.Don't forget to add ginger syrup ?
This family owned business has great tofu pudding. Free parking in the busy strip mall lot, which turns over fairly quickly. #letsguide #covid
This place is legit. IYKYK. So good. Cash only!
hands down my favourite spot in Vancouver for a sweet treat. The tofu is always fresh and never too sweet, and the soy milk is excellent. Reasonable prices too with lots of different takeout sizes. Really appreciate the sweetened and unsweetened options for both the tofu and soy milk (my only request is that the ginger syrup could have more ginger flavor lmao). I have been visiting this place every single time I come to Vancouver and will continue to do so!!
The name speaks for itself!! My family used to buy tubs to bring home, and years later the tofu here is still just as delicious, smooth, and silky. Lots of options available, with the added bonus of being able to customize brown sugar or ginger syrup as additions! A hidden gem!

Fresh soy milk!!! A little pricy but you can feel the nutrients when you drink it. A giant milk jug is around $7.50 a bottle. They have smaller sizes as well. They also have mango pudding and specialty (red bean, green bean etc) toppings with soft tofu. It's CASH ONLY so remember that. Great staff very fast and efficient elderly people who run the shop well. I'm coming here for that fresh soymilk! No more guessing w the grocery stores.
