I had the chestnut bubble waffle. It only had a hint of the chestnut taste; you can hardly taste it. It was disappointing. Also, it did not have the 'egg' taste/aroma and it was too dense and chewy. Moreover, the bubbles were supposed to be circular but they made them oval. Their bubble waffle did not embody the traditional HK style.
The Portuguese egg tart bubble waffle is a MUST TRY. The custard wasn't too sweet, and the outside of the waffle itself was crispy while the inside was the perfect amount of chewy. Please never take this off your menu!
Their milk tea is a must-try. I've already seen on TikTok how many people rave about their house milk tea so I had to give it a try. The taste is so rich and for someone who loves sweets, I didn't even have to add sugar into it! To add to that, the chestnut bubble waffle's sweetness balances the milk tea out perfectly. It's a combination you shouldn't pass out on! There are plenty of bubble waffle flavours to choose from, and I think it's hard to go wrong with any flavour. Their bean cubes are very dense and packed with filling. We got the purple yam and the matcha red bean one, and they were both so filling! They weren't too sweet which didn't bother me at all, because all the flavour was still there. And of course, the designs are so cute!
Their egg waffle is average at best but their milk tea is great!Their classic combo (bubble waffle + milk tea) is really the only one worth getting as their bubble waffles are expensive on their own.Fun Fact: Dyson Hair Dryer is used for cooling down the waffles
The flavor of their bubble waffle reminded me of Hong Kong! The crisp of the outside with a bit chewy inside, overall not too sweet! I got the combo with a milktea, total of $6.99. Milk tea is very silky, I like mine without any sugar, nice touch with a kick of strong red tea flavor. They made the waffle after I order, the waffle was fresh and still warm to touch! Services were amazing, staff were very polite and friendly! Def will come again to try their lemon tea and (maybe) other flavor bubble waffle.
Grabbed a couple infused waffles. There were 4 people ahead of us and the wait was alright. The waffles are set firmer than fluffy ones I'm used to in Toronto. Still they were ok, not spectacular. Enjoy when you want something different and don't mind spending closer to 7 bucks.
$4 for a 12oz milk tea. The tea base is not strong enough / aroma is not there and turn abit bitter while the milk is creamy but somehow powdery. Not sure if that the temperature of the milk or the storage condition change the favour.A fair Hong Kong milk tea in Vancouver but there are better choice in Richmond…
They had lots of different flavours but we just went with the original. It’s sweeter than other bubble waffles I am used to but it tasted pretty good.
Tasty assortment of egg bubble waffle flavours. Tried the taro and people yam cube ~ was a little dry but a good size snack.
Try one of their cubes and it's quite surprising.
