Service isn't that good but the food was pretty good. The Chinese donut with the sugar is good. The waitress recommended a stir fry noodle with two different types of noodle was delicious! Their beef brisket dishes weren't bad as well. Not sure what the chicken dish was but there is a picture on the wall of it, it's served cold so if you don't like cold chicken don't order it. I would definitely visit here again when I return.

A reputable local restaurant (老字號) that serves delicious classic HK/Canto food ? Must try their signature deep fried donut snacks. The 咸煎餅 and 牛脷酥 are absolute top faves! The Saipan Congee is crazy good too. Can't wait to come back more and try the other dishes.
This restaurant is super popular and very busy and for a very good reason. The fish congee was excellent and paired nicely with the exra crispy Chinese crueller. The staff are very hardworking and efficient. I would like to go back with my friends and have none of their congee or try their Teochow pao fan.
The rice noodle rolls tasted not good. Other stuff tasted traditional.
Still love the congee here...this will always be a business I will support. The people who don't think this business doesn't deliver good service...well if you look around you the service is actually very sweet and caring ..the servers actually care so much about service that they want to deliver quick service and this is why some of the staff can be very sharp in thier gestures and tones.. it doesn't mean they are being rude it means they are trying to focus and concentrate on your order while getting everything rushed as well.I have been going here since I found this place last year and everytime the servers has been quick to seat me , quick to serve me and quick to pick up my tab and I greatly appreciate that very much because I have other things to do in my life and the quick service is definitely not rude at all. It's very considerate of my time actually since there is other things in my life that I can do.Also another tip : tip the servers well so they remember you for the next time that way when you do come back they will treat you better everytime you arrive since and this is what I learned from old skool Asians and I loved the 1950s love music songs they played today on the speaker system..it just shows how much of thier love they are showing in thier own special way. Love seems to come in all forms at this restaurant and I love it very much.Last years post:So we were craving for congee because the other day we had it somewhere but it wasn't really good and I found this place because it was rated Best Congee for 2020 in an article i found...and I said lets check this place out...and Ommmmg I LOOVvveeee this place. ........this place is sooo underrated..this is real authentic good quality Congee!! And they play romantic 80s slow jams ? Ive never felt so good eating congee before! I dont need to get married all I need is Double Double restaurant everytime I want to feel romantic.. ?
The service and rudeness from the waitress was quite bad. Their food my be good but they know they can get away with being rude to the customers.
It was busy with a bunch of people crowded around the entrance.Tip: Make sure you flag someone down to write your name down because they won’t voluntarily ask you for it.We ordered the chicken shiitake congee, sweet fried donut and beef rice roll. Congee and donut was good but there are many comparable options out there.Now, I know you don’t go to places like this expecting good service but our waitress was rude, got our order wrong and didn’t bring us the correct item until we asked 3 times for it.To summarize, we felt like the food was not worth withstanding the whole experience. Will not be returning.
Amazing Chinese food! Friendly staff! Best wonton soup. The double double fried rice and crispy sweet and sour pork is very yummy too! Highly recommend this place.
The food in this restaurant is good and the price is reasonable, but don’t expect good service, because this restaurant is always busy. Also the place is not that tidy.
