spacious place. lots of tables. plenty of underground parking. food is hit and miss in my opinion, but lots of variety in foods. beef noodle soup base wasn't good but the Dumplings and noodles were pretty good. big plus is that they are right next to yifang bubble tea. id settle for a solid 3.7 rating.

They have a tablet at the front where you input your party size and contact info, and they will text you when your table is ready. Food was good. Extensive menu items all have photos so it's perfect if you are indecisive. We went on a Saturday evening and service was very slow; they seem to be understaffed. Don't expect anybody to check on your table - you will have to wave down servers each time you require something. Overall, a decent place for Chinese food.

I like dining out at dinesty. The place has a lot of good dishes for reasonable pricing. My favourite is the egg yolk dessert. I highly recommend it! The new location in Richmond was very spacious, and the intererior was a lot more modern and didn’t seem like the usual dumpling place.

I love it here! Everything on the menu is delicious and so tasty. The service is great and the ambience is so clean and modern. I always love coming back here.

Always had good experiences at the Dinesty in Burnaby and the old (now closed) #3 road locations, but since it was Chinese New Year day, thought best to book at this Gilbert rd location as I heard it’s bigger. And yes, it was bigger and nicer looking but not sure why the food is not as good as at their other places.Say the sesame and peanut noodle was drowned in the very bland sauce, practically like drinking peanut butter mixed with water! The tofu soup with minced beef (west lake tofu soup) was equally tasteless with hard ground beef floating about. Ouch! Same with their usually great Xiao long pao - ours had very hard skin! I mean it’s steamed dumplings, how can it be hard. The rest of our meal was ok, but those 3 items really put a damper on our appetite. But to their credit, they did NOT charge us anything for the doggie bag containers … and we really had quite a bit left over. Sorry for the pictures of the half eaten dishes - I was not going to do a review until after tasting the above disappointing dishes. I’ll probably come back again as it IS convenient to drive to and park and hopefully they will read our reviews and correct the shortcomings as some of us has outlined. Price wise, I guess it’s ok, and the service is imho a bit better than at their other locations - which is a plus

Delicious soup dumplings and the green beans with spicy pork are fantastic, though really not very spicy. My 7-year-old doesn't like spicy food, but he ate 2 helpings of the beans. Service was great, you just need to be willing to flag them down. The waitresses scoop up empty dishes, but don't pause to see if you need anything unless you tell them that you need something.

Delicious food and attentive staff. The XLBs are amazing. The interior design is aesthetically pleasing to me. Only issue was they forgot one of our orders and we had to remind them two times before we finally got it. Other than that, this is a decent place for a mid size gathering for dinner.

Free 90 min parking in the underground parkade; was only told about it by the Dinesty staff, after showing them my ticket. The staff said they had attempted to post notice, but it got taken down by the freakn' IMPARK, because it's their territory. The place is Spacious. The service is ok / average.-1 Unclean dishes.Asked for another bowl, which had dust in it.Overall the taste is good, but the food quality can be improved.Presentation is average.Value is ok. nothing surprising.-2 for hard rice. and fried fish a bit too dry. Kung Pao chicken meat could be a bit softer.I think the Burnaby branch has a bit better food quality.Won't be coming to this branch for awhile.

The foods here are totally fresh and delicious. However, the service is awful, it’s slow and not polite. They can do better than this. It can be 5 stars, how pity to give 4 stars.

Taiwanese-owned Northern Chinese cuisine. Hit-and-miss service. Appears short staff on recent visit. Over ten minutes wait from sitting to taking orders. Overheard a staff berating a waitperson in front of diners. Decent meal, however management can be improved. Free underground parking for first 1.5 hours. Accepts credit cards.
