I love Dairy Queen. My personal favourite is the Banana Split. The combination of fresh banana with ice cream and pineapple/strawberry jam and chocolate syrup is just…perfect. Of course, I also go for their burgers and chicken when I can. Their “flamethrowers” are the best if you like it ? ? ? . There used to be a DQ near my home but now I don’t get it as often since the closest on is on the other side of Richmond. Staff here have been great and very fast with the orders. Place could be a little cleaner but hey, it’s usually pretty busy.
Great service at this location. The supervisor managed the kitchen and counter server extremely well. Our stacked burgers arrived steaming hot and fresh. Unheard of at other locations in Vancouver. The burgers from these other locations were only lukewarm and looked steamed, not seared on a flat top. The onion rings were perfect and the service was very efficient. This is the best location and we have already come back four times! Highly recommended ?
Hot n fresh. There's never food sitting under the hot lamps like other places. The employees greet u with a friendly " Hi, how are u, what can I get u started with?". Where the other location on No. 3 rd is "whadya want". 9x out of 10 I'm gonna go back to where the staff greets u with a smile ?
The location is conveniently located in the plaza however the dining area is a bit small. The order was smooth. They made a mistake delivering a different burger than what was ordered but they corrected it very quickly. We order a mix of chicken and beef burgers. We all agreed the taste wasn't great... the meat is either old or just doesn't have good taste. If we come back, we'll just stick to DQ is famous with, that's ice cream and shakes.
Today my Dad and I went to this Dairy Queen for a late lunch and Aileen took our order. She was so nice, and so helpful and let me customize my order with a beautiful smile on her face. Then, I came up and bugged them for more things and Rossane helped me so quick and she was so nice and attentive and friendly with every single customer!! I will be coming back just because of those 2 wonderful people. Thank you so much
We stopped in for ice cream treats but they also have burgers, fries, chicken fingers too. I bought some frozen ice cream treats for freezer; and yummy ice cream cakes are offered - the only place you can buy them.
I was having a bad day and decided to treat myself to a moolatte. When it was handed to me I asked where the whipped topping was. She asked oh did you want some and I answered yes. When she brought it back the topping was the size of a quarter. Is it rationed??when I got back to my car I noticed my drink was very liquidy and there was no bits of ice as normal or ribbons of caramel. I'm pretty sure that was someone elses wrong order and it was passed on to me after it was sitting. I also bought a box of peanut buster bars for my husband and he had no fudge or peanuts and the icecream was very icy not creamy like it once was. It was not good!
The food is almost always fresh, and the staff are incredibly kind and friendly. The manager, a shorter Asian lady who seemably works like freaking 80 hours per weeks, is an absolute gem. Whoever owns this place, please cherish her and acknowledge the hard work she puts in for you every single day. She greets people with a smile and is always willing to accommodate the special requests made. I see her doing it all, from food to drinks to cash to customer service. Never sluggish, and representing this place so well. I order pretty basic stuff, but it's always done right or made right without any hassle. Can't ask for much more from a fast food place.
The staff are friendly and efficient and food was great! Hot fries, Good burger and creamy ice cream... Lovely.
