Traditional Chinese restaurant with dim sum trolley. Definitely not many Chinese restaurant provides such service! Dim sum is ok and prices are reasonable.
Came here on a Tuesday. Everything was cooked fine and the service was good. Nothing crazy about this dimsum. I’ve notice the seafood is more fresh definitely. Specially with the shrimp base dishes such as the har gow, shrimp rice noodle rolls, shrimp wontons, and the deep fried shrimp roll. Maybe I’m just used to having dimsum in Toronto.
The reviews were on point for this place. Local favorite with top notch dim sum even on a weekday. We really enjoyed the hot piping and super tasty food here. Service is Canadian excellent! I would eat here everyday. Thank you for the experience.
This is from their takeout BBQ window. Ordered a fatty BBQ pork rice for 11.50 and this is what I received. Nevermind the super lean pieces, but the portions were unacceptable. I've been going here for years and the quality keeps going down even though prices keep going up. I'm a regular customer here and can't recommend this place anymore.Disappointing experience.
Nothing in Vancouver can compare to this establishment! The dim sum is fantabulous, not your ordinary dim sum at all. The chef creates beautiful combinations of fresh seafood and herbs, fresh pork and vegetables, root vegetables, and so much more! Imagine it and it is probably already on the menu. I love the squash and herbs, the shrimp and vegetables, and I love them all actually. For dessert we had the sesame balls, oh gosh what a finish. Love the service, love the food, gonna drive out there right quick again. Love it ❤️ ❤️ ❤️Tip: on a day off, head put yo the outlet mall and enjoy the sun and great shopping, then end a perfect day with the most perfect of all BC dim sum.
One of the very old school type of dim sum restaurant in Vancouver where the waitresses pushed the dim sum trolley. The dim sum is not expensive but don’t expect any surprises. Spacious seating environment.
A great dim sum place. They are delicious. Servers come around with carts and show you a variety of dishes. You get to pick what you want to eat. Servers don't try to upsell aggressively. The place is huge so we were able to get a table without reservation. Washrooms need to be better maintained though.
This was first here came in for breakfast/lunch as we were in the area running errands. For my first time here, I was supremely impressed. The food was fresh, the service was quick, attentive and polite. Establishment is large with plenty of tables with lots of room for social distanced dining. We ordered a plethora of items and was shocked to see the check half of what we normally pay at other establishments.Coming from Burnaby it was well worth the trip. Will definitely be a regular here!
This is one of the few remaining places that serves hot dim sum with dim sum carts (點心車)like the 80s/90s.Don’t miss out their off-menu Lotus Seed Paste and Black Sesame bun (蓮蓉麻蓉包). It is a special order burning hot directly from the kitchen.Ignore the picture I uploaded. It is meaningless.
I was surprised of the serving style and I love it. This is ideal if you’re really hungry. Food’s ready and available to serve right away. You need a reservation though at this time. When you got your seat, server’s with push carts with different kinds of food will approach and ask you if you want it then serve it right away. Food’s great. Buchi is one of my fave and it’s not oily. My friend says there’s also an order and serve or set style food. The place is big and it’s easy to find a parking spot.
