Great place for Korean fried chicken in Richmond! The few times I've been to Cocoru I've consistently enjoyed their fried chicken. It's a great place to go to share with friends. A little pricey at $31 for the chicken and $6.50 per deep fried rice cake. However the chicken is delicious! It's moist, crispy, and just the right amount of sauce. We got the half and half soy garlic and Dakganjeong (sweet spicy). The wedge potatoes address also surprisingly really crispy and soft and creamy inside! I'd probably just go for the chicken and fries and looking forward to trying their Yangnyeom chicken next time!
Such a fun spot. Definitely recommend for dinner on a date with your partner or friends. I love the fried chicken and they also have many appetizer options. The yam fries are so good!! A bit pricy like 25-30$ a person but I still very much recommend!
Go to fried chicken place in richmond!Soy sweet chicken is delicious! Usually get the half and half to try a bit of everything.Fast service and tasty food in general. Better to dine in so that chicken stays warm and crispy. They currently have a holiday special where that for all orders over $50, you get to spin the wheel of fortune and win prizes! Won a strawberry soju and a free yam fries! Make reservations too for a big group. They get quite busy!
Their soju cocktail is a must try! The glass presentation made it even more interesting. We ordered bone in chicken, they were ok. I love the yam fries.

Great place for korean fried chicken. IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO PEANUTS THE YANGNYUM HAS PEANUTS ON IT! We weren’t aware since its uncommon so ours came with peanuts and someone in our party has an allergy. Cocoru hurt my kokoro. Other than that great food.
