I usually don't go out of my way to post bad reviews for restaurants but I felt that this negative review can serve as a warning for spicy chicken lovers like me (spoiler alert: there's no spicy chicken. Tastes just like regular) . In short: go to the further one or Popeyes but don't waste your money at this specific location anymore.Ordered the spicy chicken but it tastes like regular chicken. This is not an isolated case, it happened so many times since they renovated. It's such a shame but I can confidently say, this is the last time I'll be spending money here.I went here on a Sat evening between 8-9pm. If management is serious about business they should take action with this information.

Today, I experienced the worst customer service in my whole life. I ordered a 3 pieces non spicy chicken meal at Church’s Chicken drive thru on 9100 Blundell Road, Richmond. The lady said they only had non spicy legs and spicy breast. Then I chose 2 legs and a breast. When I got home, there was only 1 piece of chicken breast and a pack of fries in the box. Then I drove all the way back there and went to the store front and told them they made a mistake. I was surprised how the employee there handle this easy situation. The lady (not the one serve at drive thru) asked me to wait, because she had to check the camera if they gave me 3 pieces. In my mind, I was thinking so you people thought I tried to scam chickens?! Anyways I waited and asked how long I had to wait. The lady said 15-20 minutes because they had to serve all the drive thru first, and if I can’t wait, then she can’t help it. After 15 minutes, she showed me the video. In the video, a worker put 3 things in the box. The video was too small and can’t even tell what the worker put in. Most importantly, the video did not show the box was delivered to me, which I’m so sure that wasn’t the box I got. My box only had 2 things: a pack of fries and a piece of chicken breast, but the video showed 3 things. I explained they could be missing 2 pieces due to the order contained spicy and non spicy. The lady insisted they gave me 3 pieces and will NOT give me anymore. I asked for manager’s name and she refused to give due to privacy. At the end, I did not get my money back or chicken. It was a poor customer service. 1. They did not do it right at the first time 2. They did not admit their mistake 3. They rather spent 15-20 mins to investigate if I tried to scam them 2 more pieces of chicken. 4. They did not investigate immediately because they had to serve the drive thru, but hey! I ordered this at drive thru. 5. Wasting my time to watch a video that can’t even prove they gave me 3 pieces 6. If manager’s name is a privacy, the manager shouldn’t be working in customer service.

It’s crispy and serving hot. You can get a good deal for as many wings as u can with 1 dollar each. They forgot the honey scone I ordered, doesn’t hurt to double check your order.

Thus was our second visit to try their Texas fried chicken. One of the best things about this place is their tasty gravy although this time it was watery compared to our last visit. Maybe someone forgot to add the cornstarch thickener? Their prices for chicken seem high especially since you don't get any white meat pieces in their set piece menu. The spicy seasoning can be extremely spicy ?? and concentrated in the crevices of the chicken flesh particularly when we ordered two extra pieces of white meat. The fries are crispy and their tiny honey biscuits are more like mini drop scones. Delicious. For wonderful spicy fried chicken we would rather go LA Chicken in Richmond. Their chicken is perfectly spiced, served with tasty gravy and we always get the white meal that we want in every order! The Texas chicken here is a noveltry but there are better places to go for fried chicken.

Seems like competition in the other reviews.Chicken was hot fresh, and received an extra piece just because! I would recommend checking your order once you receive, as there was something missing last time I was here. However they more than made up for it.

Used to be my go to location and the Philippino crew was always the best. Enough fries, good chicken, fresh stuff. Now it’s all gone to garbage.The guy at the counter told me he only has legs for 3 piece combo so I assumed he would swap out the thingy for 2 legs instead. Opened it up and nope just 1 leg. The other guys used to do it for the customers.The fries used to be in a bag separated from the chicken and full to the brim. Now it’s just shoved on top of my chicken like they just threw it on top and I don’t even know the volume since there’s no container bag (looks like 6 or seven pieces). Thanks guys my midnight run is pretty ruined

Asked for fresh wings. Told me to wait for 12 mins. I waited outside but turned out they forgot about my order. Had to wait for another 15 mins. The burger looks like this too. Yikes

Drive thru takes 20 minutes, and 15 minutes for your order to come, they told me to wait in the parking lot, i went inside because they told me that my order will be ready in 6 minutes, so i went inside to get it after 15 minutes of waiting. The lady inside scratch her neck and put her bare hands inside the box before placing the chicken, due to covid they should be wearing a gloves, its very unsanitary and unsafe. Ever since the staff changed, it seems that the new employees are having a hard time managing it. But my concern is more on not wearing a gloves.

Dropped to 1 star after today.Do you mind waiting 5 minutes for fresh tenders to cook. Sure. Please pull around and park in front.20 minutes later I walk back in and they have no idea what I am talking about. What a waste of space.

This is the best church’s chicken i have ever been to. Also, the staff always takes care of the customer, perfect and quick service.
