This is something I need to share for my first and last experience.I had $2.50 social tea app to redeem my drink value. The stupid staff insisted I only have $2.49. They cannot make any exemptions due to their redeem policy.I requested no sealed lid and I want to use plastic lid. They said it’s out of stocks.They forgot to give me credit card receipt and I request again. They kept on saying they cannot reprint it for me.Overall, the workers are totally rubbish and I will not return after this unpleasant experience and unskillful service.Because you have no other professional skills to make good income, therefore you work here and gives everyone unhappy and moody attitude.Come experience yourself.
Greater attention to customers waiting. Stopped by to purchase 2 drinks. The store had 1 customer ahead of me who purchased 3 or 4 drinks. As his order was getting made I placed my order and stepped aside next to him.He was waiting on the last drink when what appeared to be my 2 cups was placed on the counter. The cashier saw them but proceeded to assist the next customers in line.Another employee called out the number of the customer prior to me and he left.The cashier had assisted 2 other customers after me and both got their orders as I stood facing the cashier. I ended up having to inquire about my order as a 3rd customer was waiting on their order.The team lacked communication and attention to detail.
they have an online account (chatimeontario.com) and pick up from this shop. My 1st order was successful and I received an email asking me to wait for another confirmation email. I went straight to this shop and the staff said my order was declined and payment will be refunded..I suspect the girl is ignoring orders received online thus after the timeout, she told the customer as declined. I like the drinks, the system is not too bad, but not the staff working here. Just tell the truth and be sorry, and please look at the customer when talking.
The experience at this store is always stressful. The staff never smile and are not willing to make any modifications. I simply asked for less syrup in one of their juice teas and they absolutely refused. They could not understand that the amount of syrup they literally put in by hand is too sweet for me. If you're not Chinese speaking like me (I'm a brown woman and have been faced with racism often), they point and speak about you in Chinese and have zero consideration for customers and how to serve customers well. I would not recommend this location at all. Not worth the poor treatment. Visit the one on west Broadway - way better or prestotea.In response to the owners reply below - other Chatime locations are happy to make modifications and don't make a big deal out of this like the Richmond location does. So pretty much the Richmond location is casting a gloomy cloud over the Chatime name. That's too bad.
I usually come to this location on some weekends when my friends hold car meets in the lot. The service is pretty quick here unless there are a LOT of people so don’t expect your drink(s) to be done right away. Staff here are really nice!
Absolutely loved their Brown Sugar Pearl Crema Oat milk. Definitely one of my faves, but i’d suggest not to add extra brown sugar as the regular is already perfect to sweetness! It’s for sure a treat.
Great place to get drinks! They had almost everything on the menu and the drinks were delicious! Could work on faster service but other than that, this is a fantastic place to go!
Ordered the bts kosmos drink. I’ve had it before at chatime langara, when I got it here it tasted soooo watered down. Chatime langara made it better.
Busy shop in the shopping center. They have a large menu of teas, juices, smoothies, and even espresso.
Very cheap and amazing boba tea! It's very fast and good service with drinks tasting great everytime. Would go again
