Ordered 1 lb of BBQ porkSince I did not speak Cantonese only English. I got scrap pork instead of a whole piece of meat.Well pretty standard for Cantonese restaurant to discriminate on you if you are the tourist looking kind. They know you will not be around for a long time. So tourist beware. I can take Cantonese people are not customer friendly just go visit Hong Kong and you will know what I mean. But they should give you the proper cut of meat. Not scraps
Everything up to point, but drinks are not included which it should be an optionChasiu is slightly not as tender but chicken are great
Yes! We love this place. We came here to dine-in with my family. This is a humble restaurant but has so much to give... it reminds me of the days in Hong Kong, its authentic Cantonese cuisine in a simple looking setup. My family and I would agree that this is going to be one of our to go place in Vancouver. Very good service, very good food. We will definitely be back. Take-out has a long line.
Authentic Canto food, Peking Duck ($50) and Lobster rice (small size, $88+tax) are delicious. Their bbq sold out really fast!
Got the roast duck and a soup with noodles. The roast duck was pretty good. The soup was a bit bland and my noodles were very clumped together. Overall an okay dining experience.
Dishonest merchant and seemingly cheating like behavior to me. Stay away. Merchant should not mistreat a single lady who paid decent money for a decent lunch.
WOW Terrible review https://www.facebook.com/groups/vancouverfoody/permalink/5476159319065096/

I love crispy pork and roast duck. You should try their Roast duck and it much better than Hon wanton in new Westminster Vancouver. As for the crispy pork, it much better than the one BBQ king in Richmond but cannot compare with the one I tasted in Toronto downtown. So far in BC, I think the crispy pork is still the best and the roast duck
Authentic Cantonese and good quality, delicious and very large portions for an inexpensive price.I'm not to sure why anyone would complain about the food unless they are looking for high end, organic, gluten free and vegan meals. Its very busy here on a Sunday evening they were nice enough to provide me a table less then 5 minutes although I was only by myself. The tea was so comforting and flavorful, I drank the entire pot.The reason why I stopped in , I was craving the BBQ duck but it was all sold out by the time arrived ( come early in the day or earlier evening since I arrived around 730pm ) so I tried the BBQ pork dish and not surprised as it was very good, moist , tender and crispy on the outside.I don't really prefer eating pork but I made an exception this one time to just to try it out.The only dish I was able to eat by myself was the bittermelon and beef dish with rice and black bean sauce and it was excellent ?As far as the service goes I was very thankful to the owner as he knew how to take good care of me.I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you been to Hong Kong, or coming from Toronto, Markham or Richmond Hill Ontario and you love Cantonese food cause you'll feel right at home here with the comforting food.Sorry not pictures I was very hungry I forgot.
