High ceiling and hence, good ventilation. Could see that they need additionally two or three persons to serve all tables adequately. Must say their dim-sum dishes were of high standard. Will go again to try some dessert dishes as we had to rush today.
Dim sum is fairy good.Baked bbq pork bun and lava custard bun were both good.
Second time back for dim sum and server asked if we have member card to waive tea fees and get 12% off, it turns out the cost for member card is $80 per year in order to get tea fee waived and 12% off dim sum and menu items. Food quality is good, servers are friendly. When we arrived the restaurant on Friday morning, the gentleman that lead us to table told me that he cannot give me the table by windows on weekend (but we didn't ask for window seats, we just dont want to be seated in too crowded place as the restaurant only have a few table seated at the time ).
First time here for dim sum ? amazing service and fantastic food! Hope to come back very soon!!
Visited Blossom last month for dim sum. It's right next to Yaohan in the former Hong Mao location. Just like the former restaurant, the interior is still a bit awkward in terms of layout. All the food items that we ordered turned out quite well... From the meaty Angus beef rice rolls to the saucy spareribs and rice rolls in black bean sauce. Har gow had snappy shrimp filling and the Singapore rice vermicelli really hit the spot.It was relatively quiet when we visited so service was both quick and friendly. Noticed that it did get busier by the time we left. Well worth a revisit.
Had dimsum the other day and I knew that they had tea fees if you had their tea. But we specifically said no tea and just hot water but we were still charged $2 per head for tea. There were 5 of us so that was a $10+tax+tip on the bill. Really now?! But I am fair. Recommendation for the deep fried chicken knee, fish paste rice flour roll and deep fried milk pudding.
Very delicious food with large dim sum portions. While on the more expensive side, you at least get what you pay for. Upscale environment and love that you can order from the paper sheet even on weekends (vs waiting for the carts to come out with random dim sum)
They don’t check Barcode of Vaccination at all
Excellent quality food and accommodation. Food is delicious and always fresh. Judy is very attentive.
We've been coming here since it's previous two (?) iterations and have always enjoyed our meals here. It's pretty fancy for dimsum with a big dining space (great for large groups), premium tea and of course tasty food. Parking is fairly plentiful too, especially now during the pandemic. Located right next door to Canadian Tire and Yaohan.
