Went on a weekend afternoon and many tables were available. Was able to get a seat right away and look over the menu. The staff did not rush us to order. Ordered an Anni Tofu and Mini Balls at the front and the dish was made promptly. Picked up the dish from the front and the presentation was quite nice. Each of the balls has a distinct color and texture, making for a fun dish to consume. The tofu also contrasts nicely with the mini balls. The syrup ties all the elements together nicely. The dish does come cold, which makes it a good summer treat.
This place is absolutely adorable! The atmosphere of this place is so cute and bright, it is the perfect getaway from the gloomy weather. The portion was big (I couldn’t finish 1 by myself) so it’s probably best if shared among 2 people. The ingredients tasted fresh, which made everything taste great.
The cashier is super bad. I ordered two of the same drink one with ice and one without, and it turns out that both of them contains ice with the label saying “no ice”.It was a horrible experience. Never ever gonna enter that store once more.
Their desserts are always a special treat! Their grass jelly is so tender and taro/sweet potato balls are soft and chewy. They are not too sweet and are perfect for my taste. Their upstairs area is especially cozy. The only problem I find is it could take a very long time for them to get the order ready.
Tried the Annie tofu. It was pretty good and unique! I think I prefer this place to Meet Fresh.
I enjoyed the shaved ice here. It was sweet, silky and all the balls had perfect texture. I enjoyed the fact they put eyes on the ice cream giving them life likeness. So you can crush their souls with a metal spoon, slowly destroying any chance of their life and happiness so you can have 20 minutes of food bliss. Sorry what were we talking about? ?
Popping pearls are delicious. The boba castle is also really good.
I've never heard about this place. Quite interesting, very different from a traditional dessert place. I ordered the Blackball special, made up of 4 different components: sweetened tapioca pearls, red beans, citrus gel and black gello. Not bad, id like it to have some crushed ice or have it cold. My friend ordered fresh milk with taro, he said it needs more taro flavour. We both agreed it had the right amount of sweetness. I like the vibe or atmosphere of the place, happy and fun. I particularly liked the mural inside showing sights in Taipei. It is worth a visit!
Very nice staff and reasonable waiting time! The dessert got the nice combination with diverse items!
I ordered a fresh taro grass jelly. The size is considerable. The item as a whole is tasty. The taro is fresh, as suggested by the item's name. The rice balls are chewy. Nice.Social distance is observed. The place is very clean.
