I love berry good! the cakes are delicious, the owner is super friendly and you can tell she puts a lot of herself in the product she makes. You guys gotta try the americano, one of the smoothest and best tasting coffees around. The wife loves practically all her cakes but i think the noir blanc stands out as one of the best. Speaking of which, im pretty sure this is the best cake shop in richmond after trying all the local options.
I really wanted to try the sesame thousand layer cake but it was sold out. But the matcha chiffon cake and mango cheesecake were delicious. It wasn’t too sweet. I love the drink and cake combo so I got the hazelnut soy drink which is excellent because I didn’t want caffeine so late.Cute and small ambience but only downside is it’s cash only and only one server. I had to get my own water and refills.
The hazelnut soy was well balanced but the cakes were alright. The match chiffon cake was frozen inside and white chocolate cheesecake was overly sweet. The Oreo layers cake tasted like 2 days old. But I really enjoyed the environment there and it’s a quiet place to hang out with friends.
Been ordering birthday cakes here for a few years. Never disappoint. Cakes are not too sugary but are just perfect for us.

I've been coming here for years for late night cake and teas/coffee. It's a small venue with a delicious selection of different cakes and flavors - Chiffons, Cheesecakes, and crepe cakes that are light on sweetness like most Japanese deserts. The noir blanc (a layered chocolate cake) and a pot of rooibos is my favorite go to. The store is cash only, and has a calm ambience to hang around with friends/fam or to just enjoy on your own! They have a take out option if you want to bring the cakes home as well.

We had the same experience as Mi K below. Very dishonest business. Tips were included in the total without informing us. We found this out only when we recalculated our bill. As we paid with WeChat, we also realized the shopkeeper directed the money straight to her personal account in China. Sounds like a totally honest and legit business that never evades tax right?If you are able to look pass the moral corruption, the cakes were unfortunately also mediocre. Please support our other honest local businesses
