Came for the Dim sum, this is a review on that and not their other options.Good, but not great and on the expensive side for quality provided.I really wanted it to be good, as I am a big fan, but if you go in thinking it will compete with the establishments in Vancouver/Victoria you are going to be very disappointed, like I was. Not one dish was bad, but nothing stood out as delicious either. The riblets were too salty to finish. I still can't decide if I'll go back.... or stick to the frozen stuff they sell at the international store.Bubble tea was great.
ORDER FROM HERE !!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET A SINGLE BITE!! Wow! I am never buying chinese food from anywhere else in town. This place blew my tastebuds away! The service was quick, and super friendly. You can really tell they put ao much consideration into what they cook, absolutely delicious. I would recommend the combo option for one person. Huge portions and a nice variety. Mmmm mmmm. Everything, I mean everything was perfect! Very affordable as well. Oh ya!!
I cannot believe how much I love Good Chef! Once again, we arrived and were greeted with enthusiasm and a feeling if \\\"home\\\". We ordered our drinks and food and had very little wait time. Food was amazing! If you are looking for a place that serves large portions but doesn't charge you and arm and a leg, go to GOOD CHEF.
I ate here today with some family, we had Chinese food, sushi and bubble tea. All of it was very tasty. I will definitely be back!! Good food, big portions and a good price
I've had Chinese food that makes you feel like you ate a ton of sugar and you get the fast food feeling when you eat it. This restaurant is not the case. It was the healthiest Chinese food I ever had. Felt like I had energy after eating it and felt really good. Tons of veggies very clean looking and doesn't taste packed with sugar. Almost tasted like there wasn't a ton of GMOs in it either. Veggies were very fresh. Super impressed will be going back. Thank you Good Chef for living up to your name. You really are the Good Chefs in town. ^
For a small restaurant they have soooo many choices excellent service and the food was amazing I wish I could give more than 5 stars
As a traveling tourist, PG is very lucky to have an amazing and authentic Dim Sum restaurant! So far, this is my favourite Dim Sum restaurant in northern BC. The Dim Sum is homemade and some compete with Vancouver quality. The Dim Sum pricing is very affordable too. I recommend ordering the shrimp dumplings, deep-fried meat puffs, Cantonese-style beef chow fun and rice rolls. Having eaten at many Dim Sum restaurants in Vancouver, you will not be disappointed!
Tonight for supper, I ate the most delicious Chinese food I have ever had in the past 15 years. I ordered Egg Fu Yung and Cantonese Style Chow Mein (Crispy Noddle) from Good Chef Chinese & Japanese Restaurant. I highly recommend the restaurant. I give the restaurant five stars for excellence. I'll be back again and again and again now that I have discovered the restaurant. Excellent.
Not very good, almond chicken very dry, pork fried rice was odd. Sushi was not good either. It was an overall odd meal to be honest. Not Grosse, but not good. Spent 100$ for take out and leftovers going in garbage. I will not try this place again.
