Was at this restaurant multiple times years ago and it was always great but this time was not so good. Food was okay. Main pasta dishes were lacking sauces, steak was okay. WATCH OUT FOR THE EXTRA 18% “SERVING FEE” ON YOUR BILL! We won’t be back. Serving fee is not noted on the menu and one person in our group got small metal filings in her drink.

Ordered the sirloin steak with vegetables. Not edible. The steak was not seasoned and very very tough. I ate only two bites, The vegetable (broccoli) was raw. This was a business dinner. Very likely this is the worst meal I was served at a restaurant in Prince George. They should be embarrassed.

In Prince George for a night, went to this restaurant close to my hotel, saw great reviews, giving it a try. Service was great, vibe is ok, menu is simple not overly complicated, try to do too much. The octopus aranccini is like a crab cake, but with octopus, tasted good. The grilled salmon was good, not over cooked, but not much flavour, the sauce only stay on the surface, may be marinate a little longer, I’m nitpicking at this point. Overall not bad.

All around bad experience. I had the fish which was over powered by roasted red pepper sauce that it was drowned in, the chicken was over cooked very dry. Flavour profiles clash. I asked for ceaser salad but asked for no maple garlic dress, thought they have a original dress they substitute for. No, I was served plain lettuce with curtons and some kind of powered cheese. I have never had a meal make me want to break down and cry until that one. Waiting staff was very understanding and made a bad experience not so bad.

Not a great experience overall, and I have loved coming here in the past.My family and I went for dinner here on May 28th. Our waitress was fantastic, and it was very busy so we do understand that the dinner rush can leave room for error; however there were a few key things that were problematic. For starters 2 of the meals we received were very dry, one of the meals was a significantly smaller portion that the rest of the meals. For the two meals that were dry, we were offered cups of sauce- however the chicken in the dish was so tough and dry it was still inedible. The inedible dishes were not charged to us, but the one with the smaller portion was. I do appreciate that we were not charged for the food we couldn’t eat.One of the dishes was made incorrectly and arrived long after the rest of our party had been served, approximately 10-15 minutes after. Most everyone else at the table was done eating before that dish arrived. At the end of the meal, one of the male servers (?) apologized for the inconsistencies in the meal and told us to meet him at the bar once we had paid our bills for some shots. Our impression was that these shots would be complimentary as an apology for the experience. However after we took the shots, we received a bill for $48, which one of our party members paid.I was the one who recommended this restaurant to my group, and have had great experiences in the past, so I am very disappointed with the food/service we received. I emailed the manager on the night this happened to see what he could do to remedy the situation, he did not reply for 3 days, and only replied when I emailed a second time. Then he has not replied to my response since then on June 1st.We will not be back anytime soon.

The meals here always taste great, and service is friendly and responsive. I haven’t been here for a long time and was looking forward to a good meal. I ordered the Putanesca Spaghetti ($24) and expected a reasonable portion for that price. Instead I received what amounted to a small handful of pasta, about a dozen capers, and no anchovies to be seen. Basically a tomato sauce with capers. Yes, it tasted fine, but I left still hungry having eaten such a tiny portion with seemingly no protein (menu says anchovies, so a few would be nice). Bread, complimentary at most places, is an additional $3 per person. Headed home with a lighter wallet to actually get some dinner. (Servers were fantastic, of course.)

Refused to serve take out. But willing to seat us at a bar then I could pack up our food? Bad bad impression for someone who came from out of town due to a recommendation.

i used to love this restaurant but it has changed. my favourite menu items have been removed and both my friend’s pasta and mine was overcooked. we were there for lunch and found it takes too long to get in for a lunch hour we didn’t alert the server that our pasta was over cooked as we didn’t have time for it to be remade. BRING BACK THE PORTABELLA please

Too slow service, food wasn't tasty at all. It had some special spice that applied even on fries?Cost and experience are not match at all??

Unique pasta I have ever had in my life ?
