Got the house burger was ok, good size.bacon soup was great.Fresh beer....
Ordered the special of the day, Blue Cheese, apple, bacon, salad. The blue cheese smelled great, the dressing had cider vinegar or something giving it a nice fruitiness. Too bad the lettuce mix was dead. First fork full was a clump of expired lettuce in a wet green blob. About 1/4 to 1/3 of the lettuce mix was well beyond its best. How does this even leave the kitchen? My partner enjoyed her lentil soup. Flavourful although a bit spicier then she anticipated.Stuffed Yorkies were overcooked and dry. Maybe that's why they were served with au jous. The server was very good.Overall disappointing. I won't be in a hurry to return.
Long time loyal customer. Food is good but it takes a while to come to you when you are at the pub. Have been busy working from home lately. Not a chance to order over the phone and pick it up myself.I stated using a food courier service. I can track online where the courier is at all times. Today the guy who brought my food spent 17 minutes waiting for my order that was supposed to be ready when he arrived, plus 8 minutes of driving time. The guy actually apologized to me for delivering my dinner 25 minutes late, but he was not to blame. And for the record: This was not the first time: the issue is ongoikg
Great! It was our first time there. The natchos were delicious! Great service!
First time at Samz and it was surprisingly nice for a pub out in Port Coquitlam. Watched the UFC fight and they didn't charge coverage which was appreciated. Nachos could've been better for $25 and staff could've smiled a bit more but overall good atmosphere and enough TVs to watch all types of sports. Will definitely go back
Average type of visit. Good drink selection, but service was spotty, and the 'chicken fried rice' was just a bowl of rice with some stuff in it (sauce was literally soy sauce, which the server suggested I should get on the side) - pretty boring.
Came on Saturday with my friends for Nucks/UFC night! Even though it was packed the service was really good! 5/5Prime Rib was damn good and only $22 (available after 530pm Fri/Sat), wings also tasted great! (Tried BBQ and Hotiyaki) 5/5It was a good crowd/good vibes!Solid 5/5!Lots of tvs around the pub and one "big screen" (4 tvs combined into 1) think they should just get a projector though
This is my first time coming to this location. The food is pretty good too. The only thing I was a bit disappointed was the Caesars. The Surrey/Langley location has the skewers which has pepperoni, olive, cheese and pickle. Otherwise, I think this place is a perfect place to watch sports.
Great pub hidden away in Poco. Been going there for over a decade. The food is good.
Great experience @ Samz on a Friday night. The pub has a nice atmosphere and it is very clean. Got the prime rib special for $22 - was great value and very tasty. The onion rings were really good as well.Definitely will return!!
