This place has been open for 6 years and I don't know how I only found it now! Everyone was very friendly. The pho broth was very flavorful, hot and fresh. I had just travelled from Penticton for almost 5 hours to get home and Pho H&P really did an amazing job last night! I had the Rare beef and beef ball pho, size large. It was so good I'm thinking of coming back tonight for another bowl!**Recent update June 15I'm not going to change my review or stars, however I did give 1 star for service. I got in at 8:30pm and I was politely denied dine in service. I left a little saddened but when I drove past I confirmed that the place was open until 9pm. I called as I was driving to Wendy's and let the staff know I thought they should either put a sign up for last call on dine in or change their hours of operation accordingly. Left disappointed and very hungry ?
SO9 is delicious. Light but flavourful soup, not so spicy. meatballs & sausage slices??
delicious pho. soup is super tasty. protein on point. would recommend!
This place is very clean, has great ambiance, very friendly service, and great food! It was my first time here and I tried the Bun Bohue (spicy soup). It was light yet flavourful, and not too spicy. Loved the Vietnamese sausage and the beef shank! Would come back again!
I wanted to like this place, and while the service was decent, the food was not up to par.The spring rolls were weird and mushy on the inside. The Pho was so-so and their portion size was average at best. They have an expansive menu that includes Thai foods, but didn't try those. Not sure if I'd come here again, as there are better options around.
1. Their table and chairs were toooo sticky and dirty.2. Ordered P7 and SO6. The taste was so so.3. They served food for their regular customer first, even though I ordered earlier than him. I'm sure he is a regular because when he came in, a server told him "Do you still want a same thing today?"4. I was informed they ran out of tripe after about 10mins I ordered. There were four tables full and two tables were waiting for food including me. It's WAY TOO SLOW!!
With the high average reviews of this place, we had a decent expectations of the food quality here. Perhaps today was their off-day, but the food was very dissappointing and we would never come back there. The salad roll was plump and tasty, but the peanut sauce taste like a mix of peanut butter, water and a lot of sugar. The mango salad was awful, with random mix of odd size cut veggies that doesnt go well together. The seafood pad thai was super soggy that tasted like a blob of noodle with no seasonings. They advertised tiger prawns and crab in the menu, but there was only two pieces small shrimp, two frozen squid, two frozen oysters, and imitation crab instead of real crab.
Loved it! I went in with my family for lunch and we all enjoyed our food. The waitress was very friendly and the restaurant is very clean. Will definitely come back
This is hands down the best Pho restaurant in the Tri-Cities. I am lucky that it just a block away from where I live. Not only do they make the best pho, but they also have other authentic delicious dishes. Their beef satay skewers are to die for. Check them out!
Went here for the first time today and enjoyed the experience overall. This restaurant serves both Vietnamese and Thai cuisine, and while I enjoyed my pho, I thought the Thai was the real star.We ordered the Thai Red Chicken Curry, the Basil Thai Spicy Noodle with Beef, and their Beef Ball Pho. The curry had a delicious, creamy flavour, and while the spicy noodle dish wasn't all that spicy, it still had a great, savoury flavour. The pho's broth was also really enjoyable, with the various spices really standing out, but not in an overwhelming way.We decided to dine in, and there were plenty of tables - this place definitely seems more popular for take out orders. All in all, a great spot that I would go back to.
