This Shaughnessy location is really bad overcooked pizza. Dough didnt rise properly and super dry due to overcooking. We have been clients of Papa Johns for 7 years in Cochrane and Calgary West stores and we order even their Pizza which is great also when traveling to US and have never experienced such a bad quality control and unfriendly staff. So do not recommend this store. Otherwise Papa Johns pizza is pretty good just this location doesnt seem to have their franchise in order. - Revision- It took 4 weeks to the owner to respond to a Google review and one would expect that a franchised location would produce similar results every time as they are following the same procedure but it was not the case at this location so something was wrong at this location. Good thing responding to a Papa Johns survey make it right and owner refunded the order.
Every time I order the pizza they always find some way to mess up the order. Missing an item, drink or dip. Seems like they should give a better wage to the employees so they care about their job.
First time for me...Good pizza but i just didn't understand why i ordered and paid for a 16" pizza but i received the 14", they said it's because i've ordered the "stuffed crust" that it folds more so it fits in the 14" box, sounds weird or it's an ordinary thing?
I have been ordering from this location for 7 years. Quality of service has declined immensely . I don’t know if there’s new management or what is the issue. For a few months now they tell me that Im out of their service area (I live 7 min away, also in Shaughnessy, and we’ve been ordering from the same location for 7 years). Tonight I asked to talk to the manager, and after I said “i don’t understand it, I’ve always ordered from this location, i live 7 min away, why can’t you no longer deliver?”.. she said “sorry mam, there’s nothing I can do to help you”. Huh?

Great pizza!! Friendly and helpful staff. They remember their customers and their preferences. Willing to give suggestions when you want something different. It is my "go to place" for take out!Susan
On Dec. 29, 2021, I tried to place an order for stuffed crust pizza through DoorDash. The order was cancelled and I wasn't told why. This had happened a few months prior and the reason was there was no stuffed crust left, so remembering that, I tried to place the order again without the stuffed crust pizza. It was also cancelled. I tried calling the store 2 or 3 times and nobody picked up. I won't be trying to order from here again.
Exactly what you wld expect from a papa johns. I wld of given another star but twice I ordered a papadia and it was missing and ingredient. They have never errored on the lol, hundred or so pizzas I have ordered from them
Great place! We’ve enjoyed having them deliver to us since moving to the area. Super friendly and accommodating. We had one negative experience and they did everything to fix it. Great customer service.
My wife wanted 4 extra pepperoncini peppers, so they charged her .70 cents for each pepperoncini. I’m sorry but that’s just bad customer service. Please avoid this Papa John’s location, poor customer service.
