Great food and service! Highly recommended for some unique taste of sushi fusion. An awesome little robot named Kiki will serve you and walk away with a smile!
I like this place bc i can have sushi and ramen at the same time. Their sushi was fresh, ramen was tasty. I think they used fresh ingredients. I definitely go again when i visit Port Coquitlam!
Came here because they had ramen noodles and we were not disappointed. The soup broth was flavoursome, deep, rich, wellSeasoned and not too salty. It was great. Best ramen noodles I had in tri cities so far. Sorry I didn’t take any photos other than the chicken karrage which my daughter had and they were succulent and juicy. I’m sure I will be coming again so I will get the photos next time
Had a very unpleasant experience at kisso. All of my rolls where falling apart and when I told our waitress she asked if we wanted a fork. Instead of correcting the order. Than our said waitress proceeded by saying she was going to talk to the chef and never did nor could she fix it in anyway possible. There was zero quality checks no drink refills or even the possibility of calling a waitress over for help. It was starting to get very uncomfortable at this point. I’ve been going to kisso for some time now but will not return ever again nor do I recommend it. Ohh and on the way out the chefs looked at me and didn’t say good by at all. Zero class with standing by there product
Food critic here. Bought beef yaki udon noodles at kisso sushi in poco. Haven’t been to this place before. I had a craving and another person wanted to try this place for another dish and to see robot servers. Pretty disappointed with my first bite as this food tasted off, terrible taste for udon noodles, which I have had at many great Japanese restaurants in lower mainland. When I was looking for some scarcely visible meat in my beef yaki udon dish I noticed some paper like wrappings throughout, which looked much like sausage wrappers with jagged edges or like shrimp shells. It smelled like sausage casings. Certainly had the texture of paper and when put into mouth, not my idea of appetizing food. When we approached the staff, they said these are fish flakes! PARDON ME??? Wth would you put fish flakes on a beef yaki udon dish? Even if this actually was fish flakes, which I strongly beg to differ…I have had fish flakes and potato flakes in Japanese dishes and I’ve never seen anything resembling what appeared in our dish. Not to mention no where in the menu did this dish description state fish flakes on top in these dishes! Who put fish flakes on a beef dish! GROSS overall will not be returning EVER! Lost my appetite! 🤮
I really feel like I found a hidden gem. Interior was nice , and sushi were so fresh and I loved all the deco details. I was also shocked by the tray carrying robot that came to us. I would definitely come visit again!!
Came here today and had a fantastic meal. Ordered the gomae and the double double (level 3 spicyness). Both were fantastic! I think next time, I’ll go for the level 5 as level 3 for me was just a nice tingle on the lips. The gomae was served using Kiki, their little robot server. But the main dish was delivered in person.
Great food! Nice atmosphere. The robot that delivers food is a little odd but not a detractor.
Awesome food and presentation, playing jazz, no rush. And..a robot serving food, I asume it is more fun than function
By far the best sushi I've ever had
