Dimsum was slightly above average as there could've been an improvement in the taste. Otherwise not bad place for dim sum. Great service and reasonable prices.Went 2day for dimsum. Service was very good and food was average. The SuiMai was very good though. For 5 dimsum dishes and 3 regular menu dishes the price came to $105.....expensive ???Dimsum average price is $8 and regular menu dishes are $20.

Went to the eastern pearl for lunch. When we walked in the restaurant smelled very dirty. We were seated at a dirty table near the bus stand. We told the waitress we were moving tables and I asked her for a regular menu because we were going to order more than just dim sum. She grabbed a paper menu off the counter dropped it on the floor in a puddle of who knows what and brought it to our table. Totally gross. We decided to stick it out and ordered five large dishes and one dim sum. The gai lan was very large and chewy , I told the waitress the sweet-and-sour pork was all fat and did not want it. At that point she had difficulty understanding, 15 minutes later she brought the bill, I thought OK she’s just gonna leave it. Two minutes later she brought the visa machine well we were still eating. Extremely rude. I asked if she was going to do anything about the fatty sweet-and-sour pork, again nothing. I paid the bill in the middle of our lunch and then she sure understood that I didn’t leave a tip and pointed it out on the bill what about the tip. I told her terrible food , disgusting paper menu, and bringing the visa machine in the middle of lunch was unacceptable. Never going back!!!!!

Ridiculously poor management. We booked a table days in advance and still we were told to wait when we arrived. After 40 minutes waiting outside with many other customers, we finally got our table. Food came quick as we ordered while we were waiting. Having 20+ people waiting inside the restaurant is not Covid responsible and people staring at your plates when you’re eating is not nice either. I felt sorry for the staff, they are working hard and do their best to accommodate customers. Quality of food was good.

Eastern Pearl Seafood restaurant. I saw the promotion poster sticked on the wall of this restaurant displaying roasted pigeon at $18 each today, so I order two pieces. To my disappointment, it tasted like frozen for very long time. meat was not fresh. When paying the bill, it was $52 for two. I pointed to the poster to the cashier and said the correct price should be $18 each as shown on it. The cashier just said the price was increase and they omitted to change the price on that poster, and insisted me to pay the new price. However, the quality and taste of the roasted pigeon was not as good as many other 5 stars restaurant selling at the same price range ($28 per piece). I do not recommend this restaurant to my friends any more, First of all, the taste of food is below average at this price, furthermore, they are not honest at all.

This place is a joke. I booked a table and when I arrived, they said because it is too busy the reservation is meaningless. So what is the point of taking a reservation in the first place. All the last said was here is a number and told me to go outside and wait. I purposely made a trip to Coquitlam to have dim sum with families. The wait was going to be about 45 minutes and we ended going elsewhere. Very disappointed in the experience and will not come back. Highly NOT recommended for the service and how they treat customers!!!

Pricier than other chinese places but justified by the superior quality and taste. Very busy place, friendly staff. Would come back regularly. Unique/outstanding items: durian mochi, custard buns, egg tarts. The mango pudding is no good.

Nice dim sum here. A few dishes not found often. Light flavours good dim sum chef. Pandemic precautions a bit nebulous we were seated at a dirt table. Right now that's a big NO NO. Front house issue and attitude. Other that that we moved and insisted the food was pretty good. Service good as well.

I visited this restaurant not too long ago. This visit is our third and never really had any problems in the previous two. However, the recent one was horrible. I have never encountered anyone so rude in my entire life. Her name is Ann or Anna. We went around closing time. I guess they usually close after lunch perhaps 2ish. Anyhow, she told us it was almost closing and that we needed to order right away. So she took us in. She asked us to take a seat and handed the menu. She again for the second time, asked that we order right away. So we did. Then, all our food except for one came very quick. Then, she told us that we need to hurry because they are closing. She gave us the bill while we were still in the middle of our meal. She told us to pay now because they need to close the till. We found it so freaking rude that she behaved this way. My husband paid the bill but we were getting so annoyed. Then, we didn't think the restaurant deserved any tip because of the poor customer service they have displayed. Anna told us why we didn't give any tip. Of course, we told her that she was very rude and didn't think that we should be paying extra for the service because her service sucked! If she doesn't own this restaurant, I really hope she gets fired. EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF AND VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Dim sum has very good value! Portion is larger than i expect and quality is pretty good, tastes very good as well! My husband and i ordered 5 dim sums and we end up both full and satisfied. Service was quick. They did a pretty good job. Will return.

When we first sat down I saw the prices...and about fell off my chair... but when the food came WOW they were huge. Good was really good too. I would go there again.
