love A&W but this location is the dirtiest place i’ve seen, the people in the back look like they have bad hygiene, not in uniform, no hair nets and always on their phones…these are just a few thing.
I watched the employee go from the till to making for to putting away boxes, he did not wash his hands or use sanitizer once. This was my first and last time
This location was charging people 25 cents per bag and saying that they were allowed to do this and it was a bylaw, which is not the case and has never been the case. After enough people complain and the bylaw office made it out they stopped, but I certainly don’t feel comfortable coming here after that theft. (Not to mention how unsanitary this restaurant often is ? I can go elsewhere thanks)
Good food and service. The place was shockingly dirty though. I’m not a clean freak, but the entire floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a week. Caked with week old dried lettuce, food debris and the restaurant floor hasn’t been mopped in so long the entire floor looks like it does when the roads have been salted and everyone’s dirty feet drag in de-icer but it’s been sunny all week and no snow for months. The table tops were smudged multiple colours of muck, even the seats were dirty. Both bathrooms have two soap dispensers and all 4 dispensers were empty (sign of how little they are tended to). The bathroom smelt so strongly of stale urine I opted to hold it. Clearly they are lacking a proper cleaning schedule and cheating out on staffing. I changed my order to takeout and ate in my car. Food tasted fresh and service was friendly, clearly newly renovated but yikes, the dirtiest fast food restaurant I’ve ever been in. Need to deep clean it desperately and then need to stay on top of regular cleaning throughout the day!
This A&W location outright lied to many customers claiming the $0.25 bag fee they charge is a bylaw. The mayor of Port Coquitlam found out, called this location personally, and told them to remove the bag fee because it is not a bylaw.Very shady business practice. But the food is still tasty, at least.
They have been gouging EVERY customer $0.25 for a bag fee which they have said is a city bylaw, and has been confirmed by the Mayor does not exist. They should be shut down for ripping off their customers.
Fulfilled advertising claims of food selection & quality 100%. Staff friendly, efficient & courteous. Premises clean. Minimalist. Abundance of Touchless hand sanitizers. Handicapped button for touchless door opening.
Spent 10 minutes to wait for an english muffin and chicken strips when the restaurant was not busy at all. Bad customer service, no apology but arguement.
Went for quick breakfast sandwich, hasbrown and coffee. Food was great, but no cream for coffee and they had no ketchup.
Best customer service ever, the staff is very friendly and polite. The food is always fresh and hot..Wonderful experience.?
