First time visiting after friend's recommendation, was not disappointed.Love the spicy combo, all three rolls are tasty. Size of the pieces were all over the place but that wasn't too big of a deal.Love it! Will visit again if we are in the area.
You get what you pay for at Yuko Maki.I often find these guys cut their rolls too big. Sometimes their rolls just fall apart on me and aren't constructed well enough. They often make their end pieces cut too huge.Never the less, if you're into quick neighborhood sushi, this is a good spot. There are small nuances to their roll construction you might question, but then you should catch yourself remembering that you're ordering off their 13 dollar super combo menu, which is a pretty sweet deal anyway. Taper your expectations a little here.Whenever I order here, my food is always ready for pick up within 20 minutes. Staff are polite on the phone to me and friendly when I arrive. The dining area itself is pretty standard fare and leaves a little to be desired, but again: for its price point, this Yuko Maki is a great neighborhood spot for some quick pick up.
Terrible sushi. Quantity over quality for this sushi place. It stays in business due to its prices, which are not safe from the COVID and "inflation" price hikes plaguing dining out.The Ebi in the sumomono tasted off. The beef teriyaki roll tasted like dog food.Never eating here again.
Yukon Maki is a very mainstream "sushi" place. Located in the central Lonsdale of North Vancouver, it is a roomy locale and from the "busy-ness" of the restaurant, it's clear that the food is consistent and respectably good. Nothing fancy or overwhelming, it is a solid place for a lunch or an easy after work dinner. The service is prompt, pleasant and effective but not overly attentive. The menu has all the expected choices, and the dishes arrive promptly although not necessarily in the order expected. Pricing is on par with other establishments of similar caliber, and quite reasonable. A solid choice but nothing to wow you. I recommend it for a casual fare.

The food and prices are absolutely amazing only thing is the staff are very unprofessional. Last time I went they got my order and brought water without me having to wave them down which was a shock. This place is amazing but they should hire more professional staff. I have heard from almost everyone I know that went here and they all got very poor service. I do keep going back tho because of the prices and amazing food.
Great quality food. Good portion sizes. Clean and fast service.
The Food Delicios ? I Love the Box (shared picture), But the tea they serve was very bland, it didn't taste like anything.
Excellent prices and tasty food. The service is bad, like every other reviewer says, but that didn't really matter to me. The outside looks dumpy but the bento boxes and rolls are good.
Food is good but the service at this place is non-existent. You have to literally wave them down to get attention, but even then no one comes to help you. They throw the food onto the table and then just walk away. Don’t come here if your expecting to get any sort of service. Take out is the better option.
