Cheap sushi! Nothing fancy, but great for a quick, inexpensive lunch.

Small neighborhood sushi restaurant in Lynn Valley. There's a small parking lot that usually has space. Sushi was decent, nothing outstanding. Kind of average. Service was good and wasn't very busy inside. Steady takeout orders though.
Edit 2022: It's great to be back in North Van and eating at my favorite sushi restaurant.

We really liked their sushi and were regulars until we found multiple pieces of hairs in our last order. We returned the food and they were nice about refunding our money, however that doesn’t compensate the poor hygiene. One piece of hair I can skip, but when it becomes two or more I’ lose my trust.
Our go-to local sushi joint. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and quality is good. We have never dined in, but they do have a couple tables for those so inclined.
A true Lynn Valley locals spot for fast and cheap sushi. Portions are generous and staff are on top of it.Most people go for the traditional sushi combos, but I like their “famous rolls” menu. The rolls have more pieces and lots of good flavour. I usually get a side of agedashi tofu to round off my meal and leave happy.
Stopped by for lunch after a walk at Lynn Canyon Park. Great price, yummy food, and friendly staff. Combos are a good value and tasty.
This is a good Japanese restaurant with complete combinations. The chicken teriyaki is great, the tempura is nice and crunchy. The lettuce in the salad is fresh and crispy. They also have black and brown rice as an option. Prices are very reasonable for the area. It's a small place but they're a hit for takeout orders.
