Cute cafe near the mall with great coffee and tea drinks and a good selection of baked savories and sweets. They also have lots of sandwiches available to. Had a London Fog and their coffee cake and both were great!
Stopped here to check emails and make a few calls while waiting for my car to get washed and what a surprisingly nice coffee shop it is. The coffee was delicious (I ordered a soy latte) and it was served hot which I always appreciate. Unfortunately not a good selection of vegan and gluten-free bites or desserts but there was a gluten-free blueberry cake which was ok. They have a beautiful large display of mouth watering paninis which, although I can no longer enjoy due to gluten sensitivity, would be an amazing afternoon snack or lunch if you're looking for a hearty bite. The staff were pleasant and made eye contact. The cafe was clean with ample seating space. Really enjoyed it here and would come back when I'm in the neighbourhood.
Good coffee, but management and staff do not enforce the mandatory mask policy at all. I see people walking in without masks on and going to the counter to order or ask to use the washroom and not once does the staff ask them to wear their masks. People get up and walk around in large groups and even go up to the staff at the counter and chat (the regulars), and some don't wear masks and everyone is laughing and doesn't seem to care.
I went here to get coffee and a banana loaf last week because I could feel my blood-sugar level getting low.I was in a quick hurry because I had an appointment near by, and it was getting late. But the next time I'm around there, I'll probably just stay there to drink my coffee and eat my treat because the shop was very clean and seemed super welcoming.BTW, the coffee was great, and I was REALLY surprised at how the banana loaf was so YUMMY. You could tell that whoever made the muffins, loaf, etc. took a lot of care ☺???
Great coffee, delicious home-baked goods. Sandwiches are also superb. Their homestyle sfogliatella and orange cake are highlights. Staff very welcoming too - one of the best cafe''s on the North Shore.
Even though it’s in the shopping mall area it have a vibe of Italian street coffee.Maybe it’s because it have a selection not only sweet but savoury snack that can accompany you coffee.Maybe it’s down to the staff that give out family-run vibes.Anyways it’s a nice place to stop in while in North Van.Plenty of parking of course. And huge panoramic windows.
Had a good experience getting a latte and cup of coffee here. Staff was quick and friendly when ordering and getting my order. Food tasted good and was nice they heated up the wrap. There could be better spacing when lining up as everyone bunches up and doesn’t stand 6 feet apart. Dots on the ground could help. The customers there were a bit annoying. Having a group sit at the table, walk back and forth to order and play music on their phone speaker was very annoying. Luckily I was doing a take out or I would be upset to listen to them
Staff (two ladies) are not friendly and seems like they’re not enjoying their job at all.Coffee was cold, apple cake was not that great, and cold even after being heated up.Independent coffee shops need to do a way better job to survive competing with Starbucks and other franchised businesses, and good customer service matters a lot.
Good grande cappuccino to go this morning, impressed by the deep flavour of the coffee and the quality of the steamed milk and foam. Not watery and not burnt tasting. I'd want to go back and try the gelato.
Very good quality coffee and nice staff. There was a very nice and friendly lady with middle length dark hair. Although she was pretty busy but she patiently helped me finding my favorite sandwich and made me a great coffee.
