It's changed since I was there last and I like the new menu. The spicy miso is tasty and different, the combos are quite filling and their new chef is pretty quick. We were there on a quiet Sunday evening but it was still surprisingly quick.
This was my favourite place in lynn valley but ever since they changed owners, the menu is completely overpriced and lacking. I miss their old selection of rolls and service. I tried the equivalent of the mango roll that I used to get all the time and it's 1/3 of the size with way less ingredients and it tastes nothing like how it used to. I wish they didn't change their menu completely and jack up the prices
Really large lunch portions, great quality sushi! Staff are super friendly and you can tell it’s a family restaurant. Would definitely recommend!
Used to love this place… in the last few months theyve changed the menu and have messed up my last 5 orders without offering anything for the inconvenience. Wrong rolls in packaging, missing rolls, etc. I am so disappointed I will never go back here.
Placed an order for pickup at 5:20 and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. We got there and the server said it's "almost ready". The food was handed to us at 6:40. Being busy is understandable but at least set realistic expectations. No respect for the customer's time and all that wait for mediocre sushi at best.
We enjoyed a nice meal here. The service was exceptionally polite and friendly, she was lovely, but there were multiple mistakes that caused a couple of delays in receiving parts of our meal. I would still go back because you know what? Sometimes people have a rough night, mistakes are made, etc. Food tasted great in the end and everyone left happy.
This is a place you can count on and very reliable. Consistent with their quality. They make your food fast too. Its a korean operated sushi place...as usual. Western style sushi. For what it is, its alright.The fish they use is always in good quality. Sushi rice was made seasoned well. Little bit sour and nice level of sweetness to it. Good sushi rice!It's priced well seeing as there arent many good and clean sushi places in the lynn valley area such as this one.They have friendly and polite cute servers as well. I will bet money you would come back here.In all honesty, Their wild sockeye and avocado roll is the best thing on the menu. Minimalism done right.
Really delicious lunch here with friends the other day! Covid Protocol is in place. Staff was so friendly and attentive! Food was fresh and plentiful! It was a great meal!
Used to go here pretty regularly for lunch. New older waitress is just beyond rude. Likely won't be coming back.Edit- at Yama sushi across the street now. Great food and price. Definitely recommend as an alternative.
They are asking delivery drivers to wait outside until food is ready (when it’s freezing cold).
