Don’t let the interior scare you away. This place is a jewel. My fourth time eating here. Rather I should say my fourth time getting takeout.I’ve mixed it up every time. This time. The duck. It was pretty good. The broth was nice and light with a hint. Of duck. And of course the duck. It was a little boney but other than that it was pretty tasty. And the rest of the ingredients were fresh. The takeout packages are all separated and segregated, for easy soup making when you get home. Make sure you have a big enough bowl.

The place in North Vancouver for Pho! Whether it is dining in or take out this place never disappoints. If you go ask for Lani, she is an absolute gem and always greets you with a smile. She was very helpful and patient with recommendations while serving us. Usually my partner and I order the Vietnamese subs which are a great grab and go working late nights. Expect very quick service unless they are super busy (which is never a bad sign when you go to a restaurant) regardless they still work their best to get your meal on time! This time around dining in, we went for the Sate Peanut Pho #60 and #63 Grilled Pork Vermicelli outstanding flavour and generous portions! It's a well kept cozy atmosphere. I have worked in the food industry and can say, clean dining, kitchen and good communication. Check it out for yourself and perhaps it might just become your new favourite too!

So much value for your dollar at V-Nam. I’ve eaten here probably 20 times in the past two years and it’s always so good. There’s nothing like pho on a cold rainy Vancouver day and V-Nam makes some of the best. The female manager who is there very often is incredible warm and friendly. I imagine she works a lot, so hats off to her.

A moderately priced Vietnamese Pho restaurant located @ lower Lonsdale. The menu has recently gone though a change they offer traditional Vietnamese cuisine with some Thai & Japanese choice options. I was there with my Mom & Teenage Friend for Christmas Eve Dinner tonight. The food as always is exceptional really tasty Authentic dishes salad rolls, curry chicken, lemon grass chicken with egg, pad Thai, beef short ribs, deep fried squid. Really nice. The staff is extremely friendly & helpful usually the same Asian girl serves us, She’s absolutely Fantastic, so Happy & cheerful. Thank you V-Nam for a Lovely Christmas Eve Dinner. Merry Christmas & we’ll see you in 2022!

I recommend going to the restaurant if you’re comfortable. I had the spicy beef pho (which I recommend), and you can add more sauces at the table, which for a wintery day was really great to warm up your insides. They have hand sanitizer at the doors and at the cashier station. The Pho came super quick! Like within 5 minutes of sitting down. I would say there was a steady amount of people seated which was about 6 to 8 people in the restaurant during weekday lunch time of 12:30 pm. I find this location is always reliable. The other two on Lonsdale can be hit or miss.

This was my time going to V-Nam. I don't always go for Pho, but V-Nam was quite good and tasty. It had a good tasting broth with lots of condiments on the side if you want to make it your own. I will definitely go back.

Pho broth is pretty clean and tastes delicious. The beef briskets were great in the sense that there's a lot of meat compared to the fatty parts (I do not like animal fat) and there's quite a lot of them. I also ordered chicken wings and fried shrimp, but the chicken wings were not as good as I expected, given that the chicken tastes frozen and the meat was rubbery, whereas the fried shrimp was not as bad as the chicken wings, but the breading is a bit thicker than other fried shrimps I had tried in other restaurants.

First experience here was fine, but sat inside to dine and was bombarded by fruit flies. They had a major issue with them, and did not seem to he addressing it at all. It was extremely off-putting and made for a bad experience.

This was my second visit. Sadly, I was really disappointed as my first experience there was a positive one. I got the pork and spring roll vermicelli this time, which is usually one of my go-tos at Vietnamese restaurants. The spring rolls were so bland!! The pork didn’t taste good to the point that even my husband didn’t want to have any of my leftover meat (which is a first). There were A LOT of fruit flies that we had to constantly swat away at while eating. And the prices seem to have gone up by a few dollars since June, which is generally happening everywhere but now makes it pretty overpriced for what it is. To be honest, not sure I’ll be coming back anytime soon. Parking was easy to find though, which was a plus.

Great food, had the beef peanut satay soup and it was the best I have ever had. Not a very fancy place. Tried 3 tables and they all wobbled terribly, server was nice but double checked our order three times. The food was great and for that reason I will be back.
