Just wanted to take a moment to compliment the service i received from Amara this evening.. she was fantastic! Very friendly & funny, she made my whole night! Food & drinks were great.She mentioned she works on Saturdays so I'll definitely be back to let her know how amazing she is!! ;)
Was recommended to come in by Mel K and I spent Wednesday and Thursday night this week at the bar because I loved it so much the first time. Mel was an excellent joy to hang out with at work and she was super friendly introducing me to other staff, like Julia who is lovely, and even introduced myself to the new chef and the manager Simon so that I felt welcome and at home in what will now be a frequent spot. The staff across the board all had smiles and seemed really happy to be there. Trivia and music bingo nights are a must here. The chef has some exciting ideas coming it sounds like!
Had a great time with music bingo, we used to see Shawn at the Pemberton and were so excited to find out he was doing music bingo in the cove! We came in for wing Wednesday and loved the honey garlic and hot wings, Julia was the bartender and Mel K was the server and it was such a fun night for the family it was awesome to have the kids in and included. We will spread to everyone how fun it was.
Mel K had suggested my partner and I come visit for bingo night and we were so glad we did! Everyone working there were so friendly and our server Melissa took really great care of us and was super nice. I really enjoyed the old fashioned and the thin crust pizza. Bingo was great - people were engaged and we had a lot of fun playing. Will be back!
Went here for the first time Tuesday Night. Was very pleased with the Tuesday Night special (Burger+Fries and Beer for $24). Our server Mel C was great and helpful with tips for the area!Seems like a nice neighborhood pub, will definitely go back!
Just wanted to write this review because of the amazing service and incredible turnaround at the Raven Pub!! For the past 5years or more, my friends and I have cringed at the thought of going to this establishment because of declining quality of numerous “things” in regards to the whole ambiance and quality of the pub… to my surprise this evening my good friend and I rolled the dice and were pleasantly surprised as we ventured into the Raven for dinner and drinks before meeting others later!! First and foremost…DEVEN our waitress/bartender was FREAKING AWESOME!! As we’re all the other staff working as I could tell from the smiles throughout the whole pub!! The pizza was cooked to perfection and very tasty!! ? Overall, because of DEVEN…the brightness of her awesome service as well as the food and improved vibe of the Raven Pub …I will be looking forward to my next visit with more friends in tow!! Kudos to all the staff!! Amazing turnaround and as the Terminator said…”I’ll be back!!”???
So many good memories of this pub through the last 2+ decades since we first moved to Van-groovy. The fire pit inside provides the final touches of warmth after a delicious burger or hearty salad (and too many comfort food options for me to partake in right now)… but nothing is quite as warm as the staff. Especially Deven. She’s a flicker of light!
A great local pub/eatery with a friendly, welcoming staff who truly care and know many of the patrons by name. Traditional pubs like this are disappearing and it's great to have this establishment as our local go-to place. The food is always great, atmosphere is comfortable and the service is excellent. This past visit our server was Julia who is amazing but the other servers such as Devon, Maria, Melissa and Mike are also outstanding and always treat us like family. Nothing but thumbs up from me and my friends!
Always a great place for a social with the locals and staff who are absolutely amazing, always greet you with a warm welcoming smile!Bevies are always filled to the rim and nicely chilled! Food is delicious!Good times!
