excellent store . lots of variety and Persian specialties. fresh herbs and great meat . Fantastic "mast" and "sarshir" . Lets face it , this place is way cleaner than the "other" persian store... and yes the door is not clean at all ! hope this business will last
I went to buy meat yesterday I couldn’t touch the door because was really dirty and disgusting I used the napkin. For food store the priority is cleaning and healthy Equpment and stuff.if you zoom on the photo you can see how dirty is it. I’ll will delete my review next week. I used to live at 15th and Lonsdale for 10 years and always walked to the meat shop as quality and prices are exceptional. I always saw the man with white hair and beard butchering in the back area.I now live further away and don’t frequent much but my wife runs a restaurant and her supplier was out of chicken legs. She was in a panick and the same white haired fellow answered her phone call and was happy to sell to her at a very reasonable price for a retailer. I said to him I used to frequent years ago and he’s still here.Very friendly service and I would recommend to anyone to patronize this shop. You won’t be disappointed.

On the afternoon of Sunday, February 6, we made some purchases from here and asked Kashir, who is really an impersonal and unbearable woman. Unfortunately, due to the presence of such people, customers do not buy in this place. Unfortunately, I will not buy this rude lady anymore

Rotten meat was covered by fresh minced meat!!!Returned it back.
The meat was off on the day the we bought it. I guess this is not usually the case but I wouldn't buy meat close to the use by date here.
