Great menu and excellent drinks. This place is always busy and for good reason. Service here is friendly, the place is well maintained, our servers are always knowledgeable about their menu items because they've tried almost everything listed personally. If you're looking for a bulldog around lonsdale, this is the place. We go here all the time and each time it's been better than the last. If you're also looking for great, well-made and authentic Mexican on Lonsdale, this is the spot.

My partner and I loved this Mexican restaurant. We stopped by to order takeout. While we waited we were serenaded by a mariachi band. Its was romantic.

Ordered 4 different tacos: pork, beef, fish and bean. Flour tortilla was pretty bland; the meat and taco itself were quite dry. Plus the amount of sauce on the side was just ridiculous. Note that guac came with chips, so for tacos you only get red sauce. Don’t think I’ll order again

I decided to try this place for the first time and will not be going back. The server was extremely helpful and that was probably the only saving grace. Our order took almost an hour to come to us when tables who were seated after us were being served first. We ordered appetizers and some drinks to start. The appetizers that eventually made it to our table were cold and bland and we still had no drinks. Our main dish was no better and the wait time was just ridiculous. I wasn’t going to say anything but I decided to mention it to the manager (Anna) who was very dismissive. I was being polite as I understand that sometimes things get mixed up in the kitchen but I was made to feel like I was pestering her. She was very short and abrupt and even laughed at me in what I felt was a condescending way when I told her my complaint. This is not good customer service at all. Everyone has good and bad days but a customer should never leave feeling worse than when they came in. The whole experience was such a turn off I had to waste even more of my time than I already did visiting this place in writing this review. Good luck to them with service like that!

I ordered some tacos Tuesday specials and it was average. There was some bits of hard tendon in the steak taco and the steak was tough. The beef tongue was good. It did not come with any lime and when I asked for hot salsa sauce I was given only a very small amount for 7 tacos. Also you are force to buy drinks if you want taco specials. Makes me think that they are Nickle and diming their customers. I guess if you are into drinking it may be a good place but not just to eat only.

Good food, cheap beer and large portions.Wouldn’t say it’s the best Mexican food I’ve had and my rice straight-up tasted like bad oil/grease. Probably a once off mistake and I’m willing to give it another go.I would recommend this place if you’re looking to fill your guts up with meat/tortillas/beans/rice/chesse/beerMariachi band every week too, go shake your maracas!

Carne asada burrito and mezcal margarita hit the spot perfectly! Portion was huge but so delicious. Atmosphere is casual and comfortable.

Great prices, amazing food and even better margaritas! Mango and strawberry were phenomenal; we would return strictly for the great service if not anything else.. visited before closing on a birthday night and server went out of her way to make the visit special!!

This restaurant offers fairly authentic Mexican cuisine in a very casual atmosphere. Parking is limited to street parking, which can be hard to find, depending on the day. I ordered the Enchiladas. You get 3 per order. You have a choice between Chicken, Beef or Pork. Because they weren’t very busy, the kitchen were kind enough to fulfill my request of having 1 of each Meat. The Enchiladas came with Refried Beans and Rice. The Enchiladas were tasty. The flavours were subtle, but you could tell they were authentic. The crema on top was a bit too subtle, but they did give two Salsas (medium and hot) to pour on top, which added to the flavour. I enjoyed the enchiladas. The Rice and Beans were fairly basic and didn’t stand out either way. Service was very friendly, efficient and helpful. Prices were average.

The place was pretty empty when we were there. We had Nacos and a couple Modelos. Not the best nachos I've had, but quite good. Service was just slow enough that when we wondered what was taking so long, the food arrived.
