I am a small business owner. Any customer can buy any product I'm selling at a big box store or business. What distinguishes my 30 year business is customer service. Tacomio needs to learn this lesson. I support small business especially family operated businesses like mine and Tacomio.I walked in and was the only patron and there were 5 employees in this small space. I ordered 3 tacos. I was enthusiastic to support this business. After 5 minutes, another customer came in and ordered and it took a long time? I saw a staff member making tacos very slowly and I assumed it was my order. As I watched, she poured taco sauce all over my taco. I asked her if these were my tacos and she said my name. I asked if the salsa she poured all over the taco was spicy and she said yes. I told her that I can't eat spicy food and at the time of ordering, I should have been asked the spice level but that did not happen. She said she would remake the taco. I was dining in. The guy who ordererd after me got his order and left while I was still waiting for 3 tacos.Another employee came around behind me with a huge paper bag, which was my order. I advised him I'm dining in and I don't want that paper bag. I am very proud to never use plastic and limit myself on paper to diminish my ecological foot print. He told me to take the paper bag and throw it away. I told him I don't want to be responsible for that paper bag and I never asked for it. He told me I was rude? I immediately said I want my money back and don't want to eat here. We argued at the cash register while he refunded me my money and I left. These staff need to know that politeness will get you everywhere and bad customer service will get you nowhere. I would not recommend this place for customer service. I did not make it to eating their food.
I hadn’t been here in awhile. The food is still tasty. The 2 tacos were enough as snacks. I ordered the chipotle chicken and the roasted cauliflower with mild flavour. Both tacos had fresh ingredients. They seem to hit the spot if you’re looking for a healthy snack. Tip: order the 3 tacos as it’s a better value. They also have burritos, salad bowls, quesadillas, and nachos. There’s plant based, chicken, and beef to choose from. They offer a variety of takeout products including sauces, chips, etc. There’s very limited seating – probably six people max. Easy to find location, just look for the camel statute out front or near Whole Foods in North Vancouver.
Come here for your burrito or bowl, then go across the street to get guacamole & chips. The guac from TM came frozen and pale. For the price, would expect it to be fresh.Update: feedback is an opportunity. Take it or leave it it, but don’t deny that something happened when there’s photo evidence. I won’t be back, and it’s no longer about the food.
I love their quesadilla! My go to filling is cauliflower and it’s so good! I also love their drinks! I come back and back again for some of the best drinks I’ve ever had, including their coconut horchata and their jarritos! Everything here is delicious!!
I tried your tacos, They were quite nice. I had the al pastor/carnitas? idk but ive had the pork one. I have very very high standards for tacos as Ive had the real deal from actual mexicans and lived in Miami beach for quite a while in the past.Ivehad street food kind of tacos, ive had very very fancy tacos and as well as your average run of the mill tacos in your friendly neighborhood restaurant.Quick and with above the average quality.. a solid 7/10.Your tacos; I must say, Is something that I would recommend. It was made really well and the pork was cooked to shredded perfection. Juicy and very very flavorful. Wish you guys used 2 corn tortillas though instead of 1 and had more corn flavor to it. taste kinda like a flour tortilla due to its blandness.I recommend this place to whoever has enough time to reading this review. lol.
Maybe Tacomio should consider a product quality control personnel to have consistent quality of their products. We really want to support you as you are local. It was not salty 2 years ago but, twice bought and twice too salty now.
Food was not bad, but also not impressive. The only thing is that they don't have hand sanitizer available for their customers, at all. Being in the restaurant industry, not to mention that they serve tacos, they did not provide any sanitary items for its customer.
Staff were so nice, I asked for an extra sticker because I'm a dork and I love stickers, they gave me a bunch. The food was amazing. A little bit pricey but it tasted so delicious that I regret nothing. They even gave me a little thank you note with my order that was on a really nice card.
Ordering tacos through a food delivery app with this place isn't the best. The tacos I got tasted good, but we're either too dry or falling apart. If you order in person, you're probably better off.
I live 1 block away. I ordered tacos. The employee told me to come In 20 minutes. So I was there in 15. When I brought my food home, the tacos were very cold. I called to let the guy know. He did not care nor offer any kind of remedy. I will not order from there again!
