Great price for quality sushi and the service was excellent. My gf and I split a lunch bento and house roll with gyoza appetizer, all came out delicious. They gave us complimentary tea and although our bento box came with one miso soup they brought another complementary so we wouldn't have to share. If I lived in North Vancouver I'd be a regular for sure!

We love this place. Its Bento boxes are always great. I would recommend grab its Bento box and go picnic any where you like :)

Food came really fast. Order was accurate. Staff were attentive and polite. I had a spicy tuna roll, some nigiri and the tempura appetizer, it was all good. Would go again.

I have to admit Sushi Mori has never been my go-to sushi place, despite it’s in my neighborhood. The reason why it’s never my first choice is because in my experience, the food is always mediocre at best. Two nights ago, I was in a rush and I thought I’d give them another try as opposed to sticking with my favorite sushi spots farther away because I assumed it would be quicker. The order not surprisingly to me, was so-so and included an order of gomaei, which was truly inedible and it went straight to the compost bin. There was hardly any sesame dressing but what was so unpalatable was that it was gritty and it smelled and tasted of soil. The following evening I decided to call them to let them know rather than be hasty and write an unfavorable review. When I explained the reason for my call, I was told there was no manager to take my call and when I asked if I could leave my phone number to get a call back tomorrow, I was told she couldn’t make that happen and I would have to call back. That was obviously very poor customer service especially on top of the experience of food that ended up uneaten. I’m sorry I won’t be supporting this local business going forwards, even when I’m in a hurry.

After a while trying sushi in other places, I really enjoyed my special roll here( crispy crunch) at sushi Mori. Nigiri was also great, Koodo to the Chef.

Recently moved to the North Shore and thought to try the sushi in my neighborhood.I love sushi, especially the art of sushi. This sushi looks pretty and did not smell fishy.Ordered Takeout: Tuna & Salmon Sashimi appetizer, Tuna Maki, Salmon Maki, Oshinko MakiThe Sashimi was tasty, kinda weird cuts on the salmon but overall the Tuna and Salmon were fresh and tasted good. The plating was lovely on the Sashimi. The soya sauce and white pickled ginger were plentiful. The wasabi, while delectable, was a very small amount. Not enough wasabi for the food ordered, barely enough for the appetizer sashimi.I ordered 3 kinds of maki. The oshinko was the best one... The salmon and tuna were, off? Strange taste to them. The choo-choo that was used as the filling also has an odd texture to it. These rolls remain un-eaten :/Perhaps there are other notable items on the menu that I did not try... For me this was mediocre takeout sushi for the price of $30.

My absolute favourite sushi place. Small and cute place with amazingly friendly staff and wonderful food. Consistently good every single time I go which is probably every week.

Toronto visitor in the area, had to have a quick bite before heading to next destination. Stopped at Sushi Mori and ordered 911 & Red Dragon Sushi rolls. Big pieces and amazing taste, was not looking forward to it but was amazed. Great customer service as well, the waitress was able to help me choose what I wanted. Will return next time!

The best quality of sushi in the neighbourhood from my point of view
