Best place ever!!!!!! Got rice in my sashimi without even ordering sushi, and this burnt oily piece of fried crumb. They knew I needed carbs in my meal, how considerate!! the bottom of the box was leaking juices everywhere which means the box is 100% paper and shows that the owner cares about the environment, cause that’s the reason is leaking everywhere
Extremely good value on the bento boxes and sushi combos. The food quality isn't amazing, but it's good for the price. I wish the sushi combos had more variety.
Presentation is everything! But when you walk from the back of the restaurant, you can't help notice all the garbage on the ground and along the side to the front door. Looks disgusting! Windows are always dirty, used masks on sidewalk. If they can't clean the outside, what makes you think it would be clean on the inside? Not to mention all the cigarette butts out back the staff create. Two thumbs down!
Prices are really good but it really shows in the food. Everything tasted off. The katsu Don had no sweetness at all. It's like they just cooked egg and soy sause on the meat. Normally there is some sweetness to a katsu Don that makes it so good.
You're spoiled for choice of Japanese restaurants on mid Lonsdale but this one holds its own compared to any of them. Head in for a really good meal, great service and spacious seating
For delivery this was disappointing. Ramen came with soup added at restaurant so the noodles were over cooked during delivery drive. Noodles were packaged in same delivery bag with sushi. Sushi was a little “steamed”. I suspect the food is better fresh in restaurant.
Very disappointed as it seems to have good ratings. Went there for lunch. The calamari was barely edible and the bento boxes were so average. The California rolls and spring rolls were the only decent dish.
Normally decent delivery but wasn’t even close this order. Barely edible.California rolls in place of almost all our rolls.Yaki udon had basically no veggies and questionable chicken.Mango rolls had unripe mango scrapings on top.Not returning here.

I was feeling hungry for a sushi date, so I decided to try out the new sushi restaurant. I was surprised to see that it was an amazing restaurant.
