awesome automatic Curtin opening and closing and great lighting all around in room
The weather was amazing today so I had to come to North Vancouver to have something. It was my first time at this restaurant. Great ambiance and amazing staff. The servers were very knowledgeable and personable. Chef Tom’s creations were also esthetically pleasing and tasted amazing. I can’t believe how perfectly poached the shrimps were! Wagyu flank and shoestring fries were a good match and chicken had a little kick to it due to gochujang glaze. Also oysters were extremely fresh and reasonably priced. 10/10 would come back!
A absolute hidden gem! One of the BEST Dinners we have had out in so long! The chef is remarkable- the perfect seasoning, the food you can actually taste- not hidden with sauce and such— a beautiful presentation and a delight to our palates- Danielle is a warm and Conscientious server who was spot on- a delight!! Thank you !! Prices are so reasonable- downtown Vancouver our bill would be twice the price for half the taste!… our new favourite!! It is a must go to!! The Cadillac margaritas are perfectly made! Shout out to the bartender- and the greyhound mojito was summer in a glass! The black fish and chips was so unique- crunchy, delicious and the BEST Tartar sauce I’ve ever had- bottle that stuff- I would have bought it on the way out! And a note to our host who was so accommodating - he gave us the best table by the fireplace- Best food Best Staff great prices!! Perfect Date Night place - watched Joel Hansen food challenge on YouTube brought us here with his video- had to try it- shout out to JH for the video!!

Honestly, we expected way more for a hotel restaurant. That, and the extremely high price for rather simple dishes. The price tag for Valentine's meal, including drinks, was outrageous (over $150). Fortunately, we had a $50 off coupon. The service by the manager was great. He was very friendly and seated us. However, the servers thereafter were below the quality I would expect from a hotel restaurant (especially for their price tag).I didn't take pictures of the appetizer nor dessert. The appetizer was probably my favourite if I had to pick. Still, it was tiny. I guess it was an appetizer afterall. The dessert was rather sad - cheap and poorly crafted (ice cream in very cheap though baked in red cookie, and average quality cheesecake in some sour fruits). The entree was full of nonsense items. The ones that were decent were portioned quite small. To share it between two was a stretch. It felt like they intended to fill us up with carbs.Good food deserves a good price, so we don't mind spending a bit more; however, we were quite dissatisfied for the inadequate experience besides being greeted and seated. Vancouver has an overabundance of great restaurants. Each restaurant has to constantly keep up with (and/or exceed) competition to offer a rewarding experience for the palette. Unfortunately, we didn't get it here this time.Honestly, I couldn't allow myself to give one star though I felt compelled. The extra star was for the manager.
A nice little gem, food was really good and tasty for every dish! The service was excellent, nice, polite, friendly...keep it up!!
Nice spot! clean, clean, clean:) I love the decor and location. Awesome, staff! We will be back!
Looking for a place to try one of fixed Menu of #DineoutVancouver we could get a table in this hidden corner in Shipyards. Cozy place and amazing service. 3 of my party of 4 asked for the Dine out menu, the fourth asked for the same soup that was in the pre fixed menu but the amount was different, almost double. Steak and seafood was really tasteful, lobster and prawns were combined with a tenderloin that melt in your mouth. Dessert was delicious but honestly the chocolate créeme brûlée was too big and cloying. Menu was 49 CAD worth it completely but I don’t know if I would come back again to try other dishes.

My boyfriend and I came here for happy hour and they did not disappoint! We ordered a mix of foods from the happy hour and regular menu including the 1/2 dozen kusshi oysters, the lobster rolls, wagyu flank steak, kale and artichoke dip, and scallop risotto. The flavours of the food undoubtedly get an A+, but I would highly recommend the wagyu flank and scallop risotto. The flank was cooked to perfection with a flavourful and unique sauce, and the risotto was extremely rich with the scallops served in a shell pastry which was surprisingly yummy and I had never had anything like it, 10/10 for presentation as well! The only negative things I have to say is that I wished their buck a shuck lasted all throughout happy hour (it oddly ends at 4:30pm) and we only found out when we got there as our reservation was at 5. The kusshis we were served were also on the smaller side which I wouldn’t consider worth it for $2 each, but super fresh nonetheless and just something to keep in mind. The restaurant is also located in the lobby of the Seaside hotel, and is quite small so it can get weirdly crowded sometimes with hotel guests waiting for elevators and/or checking in.Overall a hidden gem and I’d definitely recommend it to visitors or even locals in the area :)
