Our new neighbourhood go-to. Easy ordering online. Friendly clean simple place to eat in with good service. But most important is the quality of the food. Top-grade.
This is my favorite Japanese restaurant on the North Shore. The service is always excellent, and the food is very good. They have a varied menu that includes some more traditional dishes, which is great. Definitely a hidden gem!
Visiting from Toronto and this is one of the better places I’ve been to. I had the vip chirashi bowl. It was absolutely delicious and a very good portion size. The fish selection served was pretty darn fresh (although not the best I’ve had) and the pricing was fair. The only thing to keep in mind is that there is a big wait on weekends so go when it’s not busy or early.
It wasn’t anything special unfortunately. The California rolls does not come with cucumber which isn’t great, the nigiri cuts are jagged, but most of the fish was fresh enough. We went on an afternoon - maybe their dinner is better. The torched aburi salmon was okay, the fish was a bit thin but there was a nice buttery sauce that was charred from the flame. The tempura does not come with any tentsuyu sauce which was disappointing and dry.
I have been here countless times (usually takeout) and it is consistently delicious! I'm gluten sensitive and their gluten free menu is wonderful. I never feel like I'm missing out like when I go to other restaurants. For me, there is no other sushi restaurant, this is it!
Great sashimi selection, good food, good staff, and great service. We had the nigiri and sashimi combos. Try the unagi without the sauce on top. Also definitely try the aburi ebi oshi - great way to finish the meal
I’ve come here quite a few times and always enjoy my meal. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is clean. I love their lunch menu and recommend the makunouchi bento. You won’t be disappointed and will be stuffed! Their dinner specials are also very tasty. This restaurant is fairly busy during peak lunch and dinner service so try to called ahead to see if you can make a reservation!
So awesome to find Gluten Free sushi for my daughter that has celiac and diabetes. Now she can enjoy sushi with GF soy sauce as well! there sushi both GF and regular was good. Service staff were also pleasant and helpful.
Incredible! Great wild salmon, sashimi like butter. Many delicious rolls to try. Would definitely come back for more.
Very good service. Tried sushi, sashimi and rolls. It was good. Hope they could ad some souse on the top. They only had wild salmon.
