The food was very good
I have to write a review on this absolute gem of a restaurant. It is certainly the best Indian I've had in Canada, if not anywhere in my 40 years around the world. We ordered for 4, a complete variety of food, all delivered with absolute accuracy and variety. A perfect execution of what an Indian meal should be. The garlic Naans were heavenly. If you are around, this is THE place to go. Thank you so much, I will be back.
Very good experience!! We had the mixed grill platter and the butter chicken with someNaans. Well, I can be picky with chicken and especially the sauce but I have to say, this was the best I had in the Vancouver (or ever?). I will go back for sure and hope for consistency as it was really really good..!!
Amazing Indian cuisine!!We’ve gotten takeout a few times now and everything we’ve tried has been delicious! And such a great value for the amount of food you get, we almost always have leftovers. We recently tried the samosas and they are the bomb ?. The staff is also super friendly & helpful - all around a great experience :) We’ll definitely keep ordering, and hopefully get to dine in sometime soon..
After living in this neighborhood for over a year, we finally got to try this place out the other night. Now I see why this place is rated so high! The food was INSANELY amazing, and the staff was ready at all times! I've tried a lot of Indian restaurants out here but this one is probably the tastiest of them all! Give it a try and see how it compares to your other favourites! It will definitely not disappoint!
I really enjoyed the food here. Had the Non-veg Thali (butter chicken) - it would be nice if they offered you 2 choices of meat, either butter chicken or ______. The food was hot (temperature) and spiced nicely, and the naan was very crisp and soft. Well done Chef! I’m giving 3 stars because I was very dissatisfied with the service from the moment I walked in the door. The male server was not friendly with me, and I consider professional service to be service that is also friendly.When I walked in (I greeted the server, sanitized my hands), and I asked about buffet (as I had eaten buffet here years ago). The server told me the restaurant doesn’t do buffet anymore, but not in a friendly, I’m sorry, we have other great options, kind of voice… but in a speaking down to me, annoyed voice. If it hadn’t been for a woman in the restaurant, who encouraged me to try the Thali, I wouldn’t have bothered staying. The server continued with this unfriendly demeanour, to the point of making that me feel uncomfortable.I am very familiar with South Indian Thali, in my experience it is typically served with pickle; when I asked a few questions about the available pickle the sever sighed audibly at me and kept saying: “I don’t know ma’am, it’s mixed pickle. I can’t tell you. It’s a mixed pickle.” You don’t know? A server can always go back to the kitchen to ask questions for a quest.After I placed my lunch order, he took the menus away. He did not ask me if I wanted anything to drink. Eventually I asked “excuse me, is there anything warm to drink on the menu?” He said, “what do you want? Tea?” I said “Maybe you could bring me a menu?” He said “what kind do you want?” I said, “You know, I feel like you’ve had trouble serving me from the moment I arrived.” The server said “oh, no ma’am, that’s my bad. I thought you knew there want a buffet anymore. My bad.” He then listed off the hot drink options.I’d like to say the serve improved tremendously after this, but it didn’t. I wouldn’t go back because the service is so important to providing a customer with a good experience.
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in North Vancouver. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in our mouth. Absolutely the best meal we had. Highly recommend!!
Went in with my family for Sunday lunch. The restaurant nicely decorated & updated. We started off with some veg pakodas & paneer pakodas. They tasted great & weren't greasy at all. For main course we ordered dal makhni, shahi paneer, malai kofta & butter chicken along with prantha, garlic naan & aloo naan. Trust me when I say this, food was just mind blowing. The taste was extremely refreshing. Everything tasted fresh & the spice level was perfect. We enjoyed our meal together. Our host, Mr.Rahul was just fantastic. Will definitely return. This place is a must try for indian food lovers.

Great food! Lunch special was perfect. The world renowned fish proctologist Brent Mossop is sometimes spotted here; but will not sign autographs .
