Delicious meal on a Tuesday evening. Arrived at 7:30pm and got a lovely outside patio table and watched the sunset. $15 pastas on Tuesdays! My partner had the lamb ragu pasta and I had the Mediterranean pizza. Both served piping hot and full of flavour.

What makes this place work is the food! The pesto chicken pasta was velvety and creamy, and the rigatoni sausage ragu had a satisfying, meaty sauce. The Salsiccia pizza was piquant. There was confusion about happy hour rates which was solved promptly , hence the three stars. The food deserves four. The decor is an overlap between the energy of summer and the moodiness of fall.

We dined tonight at this restaurant to celebrate Canada Day. We had a table of 12 people. The restaurant had a good vibe with nice live music and customers enjoying themselves. Our server was awesome, drinks and food was prompt. The pizza was good quality all around. One of my guests at the table wanted more Tequila but the restaurant was out of Tequila!!! Never heard a restaurant being out of liquor when restaurant profit mostly comes from alcohol. When I went to pay for my guests and brought that to the attention of the owner, I humorously asked for discount for not having Tequila, instead of handling the situation professionally, he said “I should charge you more for dancing on my restaurant seats!!” To that point, we had a great time at this restaurant but the owner unprofessional behavior left a bad taste in our mouth. I would never GO BACK to this restaurant for the way I was treated which is too bad because they have good food. I hope the owner learns something about customer service next time he has such encounter.

Absolutely pressed with this little spot. Ceramic tiled wood-fire oven was amazing for pizza and lasagna and calzone. All entrees were fabulous and the prices are all around $18-$22. Great value, great food. Also have the Prawns Livernese appy and it was incredible.

Lovely, lively local restaurant. My husband and I went at 6, the sunshine streamed through the windows and lit the space cheerfully. It was extremely busy! When we called ahead they warned that they do not take reservations and that they were at a peak time but since we weren't in a hurry we went anyway. When we arrived we were lucky and three tables were being cleared, all of which were immediately filled. The food was delicious! We ordered the 3 meatball appetizer: generously portioned, nicely seasoned and the sauce was amazing. Followed by the pepperoni pizza and salsiccia pizzas - the pepperoni was fresh and light with a good balanced taste. The salsiccia was a standout! We ended up with enough pizza to take home roughly half of each. Afterwards I had to treat myself to the chocolate panna cotta, which was rich, thick, creamy, and just a bit tangy - in other words perfect!I almost forgot to mention the free house foccacia, served with oil and balsamic, nice and fresh and light. We also used it to wipe the last of the sauce from the meatball appy! I enjoyed a sicilian sunset martini, which was fruity and fun, followed by taking a chance on a glass of the house white wine. I've been disappointed before and so I was really pleased to find out that their house wine was actually very nice! All together, bill came to $100.90 (before tip) and I am now in food coma! Oh, one other thing, they have live music on Friday and Saturday nights. We caught "Tom & Georgina Arntzen", not really my cup of tea, but pleasant enough. The musical act is posted on their Facebook page and they seem to have many different acts coming through.Altogether I highly recommend this place!

I don't eat pizza often but this is been an excellent find. Fantastic piece set and we will be back!Friendly staff and great service.

I went to have dinner with my family. We order a few starters Calamari was one of them and a salad. Then the waitress mentioned there was no calamari available but she will check. She came after and mentioned there was no problem and soon we will have them.We order a few drinks and I noticed 1 of the waitress coming back from the store with a box of calamari. After we ordered 2 pizzas 1 Hawaiian and 1prossciuto.I had an order also for myself a sangria. In the end, we like the food I have the sangria I couldn't even drink was disgusting. After our visit we got all sick my 4-year-old begins with vomit followed by my wife and my other daughter at the end was me we all end up at Lions gate hospital after none stop stomach pain and vomit. I will not recommend this place at all.I can easily go to the superstore and get the same box of calamari myself.Well, it took us a week to recover

I was introduced to this place by a friend and I enjoyed their food. They’re known for their delish Neopolitan pizza and pasta. We started with the deep fried calamari and had the prosciutto pizza with fresh arugula. The calamari came with slightly grilled red peppers which was a nice change. The sauce has a bit of a kick to it. It didn’t taste too greasy but a little too much of batter. The pizza was cooked in a wood fired pizza oven. The menu is one and the same for both lunch and dinner. There’s a decent selection for vegetarians.Note they’re only open for lunch from Wednesdays to Sundays. Closed Mondays.Service was prompt. Great ambience and clean place. Parking is on the street. Be aware of the 1 hour parking limits except the side streets which is 2 hr max.

We love the food at Palermo Cucina. The wait staff is very attentive and friendly and an added bonus is the live music! Their menu works well as a convenient take home option too. If you are thinking of trying out this restaurant don't hesitate. We highly recommend it.
