amazing service quality food wow lamb shoulder was amazing and I couldn't finished it to big thank you for your amazing experience
For sure the best Greek restaurant in this part of Vancouver! During our stay, we came here 3 times. Always amazing food and excellent service! Extremely tasteful calamari and octopus, rembering me of the dining experinces in Greece. Very nice and friendly servers! Sometimes a bit too crowded, but I guess that is something that confirms the high quality food and service. Would definely recommend this place to anyone and if we will visit again Vancouver, will definitely come back to have dinner here.
Food was good and the server was kind. Really nice lady, she was not the problem. But.........we waited for over an hour and a half for the food to arrive from the time we ordered. Fair enough, they were under staffed, I get it. The kicker was we had to tip 18% despite the really long wait. What is tipping for then? You tip for good and bad service now?Won't be going there again. Too bad.
My husband and I were looking for a quaint and warm environment to host our wedding reception for quite some time before we came across Mythos. After a first peak at our potential wedding reception venue resulted in seeing a shooting star over the restaurant that was caught in a Live Photo, we found it impossible to resist! The planning process was easy, relaxed, and the owners were always available to answer questions throughout the process! The best part however, was the day of the reception. I can’t begin to explain how incredible the service was, the food (WOW) was a hit with EVERYONE, the drinks were all delicious, and the energy and environment were second to none - simply magic. Wether you are trying to decide on where to go for dinner or a place to hold an event - you will not be disappointed at Mythos! The most popular dishes with our guests were the saganaki, roast lamb and meat balls. The Mythos Mojito drink was a huge hit too (even with those who don’t like Ouzo)!! Dining here makes you feel like you’re on vacation on a Greek island. I can’t wait to spend every wedding anniversary here!
One of a kind ambience in North Vancouver. Don't miss it!This place has an amazing vibe and there's really nothing else on the shore quite like it. Nestled down on 3rd, you can drive past it and not even realize this might be one of the most unique dining experiences here. The menu is fantastic and everything on our table was prepared amazingly. Everything from the starters to the main courses is put together thoughtfully and professionally. The whole restaurant looks well maintained and taken care of.Our server was friendly, courteous and knew every item on the menu well.We will be back. This place is a gem for sure. Dining up front under the skylights is pure magic.
Best Greek Dining experience and food in years. The roast lamb shoulder was terrific. The fresh mussels and marinara sauce was a fantastic starter. Our server Maria was excellent
Great fare and environment - staff were well informed and able to provide great recommendations! Portions are generous, though price point may be a little high for casual dining.
Foods were delicious. I ordered the 3 course Symposium which had very big portion. The restaurant is very busy and also a bit noisy. Service was welcoming and nice but slowed down mid way. The waitress took away our empty dishes and came back with the bill without asking if we want some dessert or anything else. I guess it was too busy so they just want the table back.
Had dinner today with my gf. And the roasted lamb that we both ordered was so good. Cooked to perfection no dryness ?. Service was on top , to bad that we didn't ask her name , because she was so sweet and welcoming . I highly recommend this restaurant.
Went last night for birthday celebrations. It struck me while I was there that this was the first place I had Greek food. It literally changed my life. I never knew food could be so good. The place has not changed much in 3 decades a dwho knows how many different owners, but it doesn’t need to. It’s classy and cozy and the staff here are just as wonderful as they have ever been.Had the saganaki and other than it not coming to the table on fire like it used to it was excellent. The mixed souvlaki was splendid and I enjoyed it. Like always with Greek food there are simply too much carbs. But I just skipped the rice. You have to have pita with saganaki and I am not leaving roasted Greek potatoes behind.Everyone wanted ice cream and I had to skip the baclava sundae… next time. Everyone enjoyed the meal and would go back in a heartbeat.
