Don’t want to give any star but it doesn’t let me. The worst Indian restaurant ever !!!My friend came over from Richmond and wanted to grab some appetizers. Their tamarind sauce was just tamarind water. The container was so tiny that there were only 3-4 pieces of pakora. I have ordered multiple times in the past but then I stopped wouldn’t have suggested my friend if I knew she would go there. In the past they never cut their naan into 4 pieces I always end up getting the big bread of naan I need to cut at home . That’s disgusting.Their packaging is worse always leaking sauces .Please don’t go and waste your money . There are so many other restaurants on lonsdale that are so yummy.

Ordered chicken korma off doordash. 3 stars because the food tasted fresh and arrived hot. Not a lot of chicken, mostly gravy/sauce, which tasted like a generic Indian recipe catered to a handful of people who order butter chicken everywhere they go. Either my order was mixed up with someone else's butter chicken or they use the same base for all dishes, because that did NOT taste like korma.

IMPERSONATION?My wife and I felt like having some Indian appies and I had a biryani craving so we decided to order food from this local restaurant (support local?).Delivered on time by Doordash and I gave them a good review (my bad) since I had heard good reviews of their food. Before I dive into our experience, I was born and raised in Bombay (will NEVER call it Mumbai..sorry) and have been accused of being an excellent cook. Yes, Biryani is one of my strong suits and can whip a fabulous one in no time at all. Hence not a novice nor a newbie .So here's what I found..The Onion pakoras were undercooked and had the unpleasant taste of raw dough.Potato Vadas - well seasoned and good. 4/10Samosas - not bad - 6/10Now the absolute disaster - Goat Biryani! Why? Why would anyone serve something so tasteless and far flung from a biryani - Call it whatever!A Biryani is a layered rice meal - one layer has meat cooked in spices etc. There are many variations of this hugely popular meal. This disaster was anything but one of those variants. A gooey mess with onions, peppers and barely cooked goat meat slopped in rice that had been clearly drowned in a gravy/sauce/base to give it an "Indian" flavour. My rating -10 / 10Any self respecting cook would refrain from presenting such an absolute apology for a biryani! If the owner wishes to get a simple recipe, I'd be happy to oblige.Incidentally, the addition of Kiwi to your meat will tenderize the meat to perfection - so no excuse for tough meat!Sad to see a local restaurant fall so low.

I've had better and slightly more generous portions of meat from other nearby restaurants. The korma sauce was watered down and 6 morcels of meat with lots and lots of sauce, accompanied by plastic. The cutlary provided broke while trying to handle the meat, which seemed to have been microwaved as it was rubbery.Overall a poor experience.

Butter chicken had WAY too much butter and too much chicken. Check outy photo, too much butter and chicken!!! Wow, they REALLY loaded it up with chicken. See my photo

Recommended by son on his last visit to Canada. Mumbai Masala lived up to billing and we enjoyed excellent , prompt and very tasty food. Ignore doubtful reviews and feast on great flavors.

Food has gone from bad to worse.Totally blend taste and the restaurant owners sitting there and talking at the top of their voice just ruins the whole idea of a quite evening meal.Don't think will ever go there again, used be a regular there at one time.

DO NOT GO HERE EVEN IF YOU’RE STARVING! Horrible service! Horrible food. Ordered veg biryani. Got something that looked like rice mixed with butter chicken. Only selected a rating because there isn’t any negative ratings available!

Worst food I’ve ever had in my life. Unbeatable. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone
