Ordered lunch through skip the dishes. Specific note about only using soy bean paper (seaweed substitute, as I have an allergy to it) and no crab meat . Ordered 3 rolls and they added crab and seaweed paper. Didn’t call to check if they should still make the order as they didn’t have the soy paper available. Order arrives at my house with seaweed paper rolls. No one in my house can eat it! Called the restaurant to ask for help, they said they can’t help me, have a good day. Rude, disgusting!
Their best menu item is the negitoro. Whether it is hand rolled(temaki) or the traditional authentic edomae rolls. The negitoro is your best bet. Aptly price and of sound quality. Cant argue with the taste as well. Id give it a solid 8/10.You would want to try the wild sockeye and avocado rolls as well.The rest of their menu is meh, average. Their nigiris are the korean style nigiri which is HUGE and is such a drag to chew.They are pretty consistent and will deliver the same standard of quality everytime so thats great.
Iam giving a 3 due to the fact the menu on line shows a lower food price than what they charge you. Please update your online menu. Sushi is good
This used to by our go-to sushi in Lynn Valley, but noticed a real decline in quality a year ago or so. Tonight we gave it another try and ended up throwing most of it away.Beef Teriyaki was putrid and off-smelling; cali rolls looked old with brown avocado; tempura was undercooked and mushy. My wife agreed it was mostly inedible.Not sure what happened, but Mr Sushi is no longer an option.
Been going here for years. Glad to see they've expanded to Lonsdale, but LV branch is OG. Simple, affordable, no frills, and good sushi. Sometimes their yam roll isn't crunchy enough, but probably just caught them on some bad days. Otherwise, pretty good!
I eat here at least once a week.Service is amazing, food is amazing and the prices are good too.Id give 10 stars if I could. I love this place.
We probably eat here once a week, always takeout. Usually the same items, they are always good and freshly prepared. Everything is packaged in a way that it stays fresh and is at its best when it gets home. This is our favourite sushi restaurant in Lynn valley.

I had ordered some nigiri from here a little while back and the cuts of fish were just not up to par. Unfortunately won’t be in a rush to order from here again.
