Have ordered delivery and come in for takeout a few times these past couple weeks. The sandwiches are delicious. Didn't enjoy the chicken stew much as by late afternoon it wasn't fresh. But the sandwiches are always good and great pricing.
We were exploring Vancouver prior to an Alaskan cruise, and ended up wandering in here for coffee after a disappointing breakfast nearby. The coffee was excellent, but the people were better!The lovely woman and young man inside (I assumed the owner and her son?) gladly exchanged our American money for Canadian, estimating the exchange rate in our favor. She proceeded to ask about our plans for the day, explained the local bus schedule and how to get a pass (we'd been paying for uber so far), and doted on our kids the whole time we were there.I wished for more time in the city if only to visit this cafe again!
Warm cozy place with a home like feel to it, fresh coffee and sandwich that I thoroughly enjoyed. Reasonable prices. Definitely a hole in the wall but a diamond in the rough. The only crateak is that it's a little disorganized / cluttered / not the cleanest. Overall I am satisfying and will go back.
This cafe is such a hidden gem. The food is incredibly delicious, fresh and home made feel- but more importantly, affordable. The interior is so cozy. Definitely a bring a book and relax for a couple of hours cafe. New regular spot.
Great little hidden mom and pop cafe. Ken and Joanne are such nice people, and they make really tasty food. I always look forwards to old time friendly service and good food. It's amazing how well priced things are considering the current economy. The salads are always really fresh
No fuss comfort food. It’s really a gem to find nowadays and loved by locals and workers nearby.My go-to is the daily soup special, grilled cheese, and the blended mocha drink!
The best turkey clubhouse I have ever had and the vegetable soup is delicious too owners are very friendly people 10/10
Great value, tasty food and lovely staff - v friendly and conscientious. I recommend their cooked breakfast deal! Banana bread was also yummy.
