So apparently, this place is a whole "thing" in the Vancouver area. My mom and I stopped in the beautiful little town of Deep Cove and ate breakfast here. My mom got an omelette and hashbrowns. She said it was one of the best omelettes she'd ever had. I got a chocolate doughnut. While it wasn't what I imagined when I thought of a doughnut, the more I ate, the more I liked it. The doughnuts are really popular, judging by the orders people were placing. It's a great place for a relaxed Saturday morning breakfast, and the customer service was excellent.
Honey donuts has some yummy stuff. Churro like donuts, denser than the usual. Minus one star for the militaristic drill sergeant that greet you when you enter. I get your trying to be efficient but take a bite of your own donut and relax! If you want your customers to know their orders beforehand maybe have a copy of the menu outside.
OMG, you need to go there!! The donuts are absolutely amazing! They’re like a soft ball of crispy dough goodness. Too hard to describe, you need to try. It is a very popular place for a reason. And where it is situated is a very cute little place, so peaceful.
Their donuts are delicious! So far my favourite is the one with honey in it. There coffee is okay. People working there are kind and helpful. Service was really fast and efficient regardless the large line. Prices are fair for what you pay. The place is really clean. 100% recommended if you are visiting deep cove.
Sat on the outside patio here for lunch and was a nice little setting. Place gets busy, and this was on a Tuesday! So weekends will be packed I can imagine. We ordered toasted sandwiches which were good portions and tasty. Then fir dessert we ordered the famous donuts, which lived up to the reputation! My personal favorite is the honey donut, but my friends got the maple and loved it too! Definitely worth a visit
Breakfast sandwiches were great. The potato bread was really nice and crispy, the crunch was a nice twist on a classic. We were disappointed with the donuts having heard a lot of hype about them. The coconut donuts dough was nice and soft, but the topping was lacking in flavor. The chocolate Oreo had a great topping, but the dough was dense and part of it was raw.Location is great, nice to get the food to go and then sit down by the water or go for a stroll along the water.
We visited near closing time on a whim and were treated to some of the best doughnuts I’ve tasted. The place was busy even towards the end of the day and I can see why they’re so popular. I tried the classic honey donut and the maple donut and they were both delicious, with the perfect size and texture. No frills, just great flavours and taste.
These are truly the best doughnuts I’ve ever had, no exaggeration! Every other doughnut I have will be in comparison to Honey’s: they somehow strike the perfect balance of fluffy and dense, so that they’re almost like cakes. I truly wish I lived closer so I could go every day. Their sandwiches are great as well, but I highly recommend you get a box so you take some doughnuts home for later!
Delicious as always and the views are beautiful??
It is a nice place to visit in deep cove for donuts and even breakfast. They always have fresh ones out and sometimes, still warm if you are lucky. Donuts are delicious but could use less grease. Service over the years have gone downhill and have been more rushed/abrupt and even rude. Would still like to have some if one is lucky to even get parking in deep cove these days.
